Mind is willing, soul remains. It was the element that bound him in constant torment. Restraining him from his potential, it had left it's mark on his body more then once in scars written off as ink-less tattoos. Lines, hand prints, wings - all scarred over warnings to leave it alone, to leave time, space and the human mind alone. But he couldn't because they were a part of him or because they were forbidden to him. He would admit that it was no falter of his own he had come by these failures and these punishments. Instead, he admitted only that it was that one single element and he would over come it. Other then the physical, which he found he could often avoid and over power, soul was his only real restraint. Of course, rules had been put in place for him. Fearful elders and immortals hoped to restrain him in a twisted not of regulations for what he could and could not due and if he ignored them, they promised unnamed cruel punishments. He had only suffered them twice and then he learned how to proceed undetected. He believed they knew nothing of power, nothing of talent, nothing of the books they claimed to have learned from. They only fear. He was their fear and in his tormented, restricted state, he would torment them by overcoming everything they labeled as impossible, immoral, inapropriate. Impossible, soul. Soul was impossible. The word repeated in twisted phrases through his headSoul, soul. "Son! Son, are you listening? The voice of the fourth period honors physics teacher broke into his thoughts. The man's intense gaze startled Karuma for just a second before he straightened up in his chair. "Yeah... what?" His eyes strayed to the board to take in the scribbled numbers and phrases. He knew what most of it meant, he had taught it to himself years ago before middle school. As this was only the second day of school, the class was still on relatively easy review. "If you were listening, the answer?" The teacher's impatient tone. He would come to know that very well. "It's pendulum theory." He murmured, his eyes on the clock knowing the teacher's response would be over ruled by an intruding bell. His lips pulled into a smile as his prediction was true, he was up and out in quick time.
Karuma had attended all the classes on day one and half way through the second day had quite the reputation. His name was on the tips of tounges, student and teacher alike. Charming looks had allowed him to easily work his way into the more popular clicks, not easy as he was the new senior, but he didn't stay there to long. Strangely, they let him work his way around the different groups though sooner or later they gravitated back to him. He was attractive enough, polite and his easy jokes allowed a more favorable atmosphere around him. However, he would always pull back from people as though he couldn't spend to much time with them. The ease and grace made a mystery about him that lured the students in even more. Only the freshmen didn't find the real intrigue, almost all of them were new. He was one of very few new seniors. The teachers were intrigued for different reasons. They had heard of his name and found he wasn't exactly enrolled in the school, something they could not quite understand nor would the board members elaborate on. For now, they had to put up with his strange class attendance.
Karuma slung his backpack over his right shoulder and then put his hand in the pocket of his fleece. It was unusually clean for white outerwear, indicating it was relatively new or very well kept. The zipper line on the fleece only ran down to the chest and he had the whole length undone. revealing a dark blue t-shirt underneath which matched with the three dark blue stripes on the upper part of the sleeves. He was wearing jeans like most of the other guys in the school, his were caught in the perfect stage between tight and loose and had a materialistic, dark, copper wash. To finish his attire, he was wearing a pair of black samba signature soccer Adidas. It only helped his climbing status to be a man of good taste with out even having to try. Yet, he wasn't the perfect new student everyone dreamed about. There was something about him that put him off to plenty of the students. He appeared to be around the age of a senior, but the skeptics felt he looked to old and the color of his eyes were atrocious. Remnants of beautiful blue eyes were clouded with a thin opaque white as though at some point he had been struck blind. However, his sight and foresight were perfect. People were careful not to ask him about it unless they wanted to embarrass him, in which case he answered with some clever ever changing response.
Karuma stood to the side of the cafeteria entrance scoping out the slowly filling place, looking for his new spot today. Between his hands, he rotated a dark red vitamin water, the only thing anybody had ever seen him consume yesterday. He could see the prep table filling, the jocks, the do nothing pretty girls, the brains, the averages scattered all around. Then there were the cliques you could only find here. The witches, wizards, the angels, the changelings, healers, mages, the telekinetic. The typical light magics associates. The last being one of his favorite groups to dabble in for reasons becoming increasingly apparent to the students in his classes. He was overly fond of using his mind to grab objects, even turn pages in his books. "Eenie, meanie, mynie..." His eyes hopped from table to table, looking for the perfect 'moe'

Sure Morgan had heard about the new kid, After all it was the big news where most of the students were concerned anyway. And if he cared to admit it even he was curious about the new senior. This strange kid that had the perfect answer to every teacher's question and was able to flit in and out of clichs with ease. Most where probably envious of the first talent but not Morgan, Aslong as the vampire mainted his average grades he was content. 'No it was the second one Morgan craved. After all being able to charm people like that was true talent.
Morgan didnt fit in to any cliche really except the drama club and that was one he preffered not to advertise. (he prob does but the brian wont cooperate on the matter) So when not around Lucian he was more than likely alone. Not that it bothered him not really. His clothes where smart but not the best brands and he was gay, two things that kept down his popularity in school. The only thing that did keep him afloat was his ability to attempt pranks on the staff and teachers alike,
'I bet hes a Vampire' He murmurs to no one in particlar watching the red drink in his hand "hybrid maybe or a strong bloodline' Morgan didnt realise how far off he was about Karuma "cute too no wonder the girls are after him" he smirked watching a group of cheerleader types attempt to get his attensions. (just thought id throw that in there ) "i wonder what hes waiting for, there are plenty of chairs to sit at, just pick one already " he ordered in his near silent rant "Any one would think he enjoyed being there in the spotlight like that"
*hope its ok and not to sucky~*

His tenebrous eyes went through another round of tables only moving on in time with the rhythmic sloshing of the triple x vitamin water. Back and forth, back and forth. The slow, even pace began to lull his mind someplace else. With each second his patterned repeated, his mind slowly zoned out, focusing on nothing and no one. His eyes began blurring out and retracting from the giggling, beckoning cheerleaders, the suspicious glances of people who felt stared at, eyes that were everywhere. The cafeteria became less and less to him, shrinking, blurring, turning to a haze of grey. Slooosh... slooosh... sloosh. Splashing water replaced roaring voices, a gentle trickle in the heart of the waterfall. His breathing followed the moving rhythm of his tilting hands. All the choices he had been weighing, where to sit with, who to waste time on, they all vanished as his mind lulled itself into the same quiet the rest of his body had entered. Then he felt it, the familiar pull in his chest. It was a sudden tightness that was simultaneously weightless, like his stomach flipped on a roller coaster. It was a feeling of thrill wrapped in the fear of a tearing, the splitting inside him. He could almost hear the strings that held him to reality snap one by one with sharp twangs. His mind disconnected fast today, the throngs swarming the small room had flooded his mental capacity with their decisions and quickly thrust him into the realm of foresight. The force of their futures cascading into his view was overwhelming. He felt dizzy with all the voices, these were all frivolous decisions he hated. The futures of people who decided to go out tonight, a date next Friday, talk to that kid, steal that car, tell this person off. He brought the vitamin water to his lips, he felt like throwing up. He hated the public as much as he enjoyed it. The pulsing in his mind grew worse and he made a wrong step into someone's path. "Watch it." The growl and the impact were enough to recall him from the future to the present. "Sorry." he muttered putting his left hand to his head for a second. As his hand fell away, he found himself staring through a crowd to one dark clad kid staring rather intently at him, perhaps marveling. Karuma's eyes narrowed, just like his mothers, and he looked left and right, not that the directions were to distinguishable under the cloudy orbs. Kay, so I am being stared at. Other gazes were enough to confirm that. It was almost as though he never really noticed that he was the center of attention, even when he put himself there. The stares suddenly felt awkward and he wondered how long he had actually been standing there. Cracking open the vitamin water, he strolled across the cafeteria with the bottle pressed to his lips for a good swallow of the flavored water. Surprisingly, he stopped next to Morgan. He was tall, but nowhere near as tall as his brother, Caleb. There were very few people who knew they were even related outside of Lilly's immediate family and of course, his own. Still, the height was just an inch enough to notice. His right hand hovered by his stomach where the vitamin water was held open. He was looking down at Morgan at a left angle, his eyes squinted as if scrutinizing the junior. "You should stare less." He commented, his matter of fact tone was free of hostilities but sung along a tad egotistic. "I can see it gets you a lot of unwanted attention." His lips twitched as though he was tempted to smile. "You in one of my next classes, right? I mean, I thought I saw you there yesterday." He had switched to a friendlier line of conversation though for him, it was highly cliche. It was one of the many things he said as he traveled from clique to clique, one of the reasons that perhaps, he had migrated into them so easily. Simple conversational skills. He knew what to say to make it work, in harder cases, he'd already seen the conversation happen. However, these silly teens weren't to know that.

Morgan rolled his eyes whoever this guy was or wasnt he certaintly seemed, almost an air head. Certainly his head seemed in the clouds as he stumbled around the large dining hall. A soft chuckle echoed from the vampires lips as the forseen collasion between Karuma and some kid. The laughter died as he took a long drink of his soda.Disdain showed slightly in his eyes as he watched Karuma cross the floor to where he sat .~why the hell is he coming here What does that senior have to come bother me~ He thought discarding the empty can on his near empty lunch tray. "Never Might Miss Something Useful" Morgan's answer to Karumas opening statement came quick and fast "But you should learn to watch where your going. Next time you might bump someone important like a cute guy" Ok so he should of said Girl to offer ease to the situation, but sooner or later Karuma would discover he was gay and Morgan always preffered the sooner. Studying Karuma upclose it was indeed impossible to tell that both boys were from the same family tree .. Just different branches. Something not even Morgan could figure out that the guy was his mothers cousan. He shrugged already ready to dismiss his company, after all it had no use for him except to allievate a moments boredom. "Yeah...." The single word was peppered with Sacasm and the sigh one uses when they know they have to explain something slowly too another just to make them understand. "Double English this afternoon. We are studying that Dicken's guy or did you forget that too" He smirked testing him almost wondering if Karuma would rise to the bait , after being treated like some dumb kid or would seek out the rest of a somewhat normal conversation. The only good thing about this afternoon was that Drama always followed English and he shared that class with Lucian. So for the next hour or so Karuma might possibly be entertainment. Even if he was , Morgan decided a total airhead. He just might have his uses yet.

Having been standing at an angle to Morgan, when Karuma turned his eyes infront of him they were fixed away from Morgan, into some random distance. His attention was still there though. The dark, slightly short cropped mess of locks slid towards his eyes when his head moved in a nod to what Morgan said. He either hadn't heard the phrase "cute boy" or didn't care, or for Morgan's intrigue had taken special note of it. In either of the three cases, he had a perpetual composure about him. He always appeared unphased by things no matter what course they had taken on his physical or emotional states. He maintained a constant casual breeziness like he was untouchable by the present and unfettered from troubles and worries. They simply glanced off him, oil to water. These portrayed characteristics were amplified by an air of confidence steadily radiating off him. It wasn't usual to find a "teenager" unwaveringly confident in themself but, he did actually know it would be alright and that knowledge was almost tangible for his peers. In some cases, his nonchalance would be mistaken for a man who wasn't all there or who didn't entirely care. It was as though he had asked for something he didn't care to hear the response of, it could even be interpreted as arrogance. However, the ease of his facial features, the peace and concentration there was hard to draw anger towards. Muscles between his eyes had pinched just enough to create lines of concentration and his jaws slackened so that his open mouth was a further indicator of well focused thought. It was easier to believe he wasn't ignoring you, just not thinking about you... for some reason.
"Dicken's huh?" Karuma sighed and turned his eyes back to Morgan, again the water was sloshing between his hands. "Shame. He does get boring to me. He was an okay guy... uhm, I guess." His eyes wandered in silent hopes that nothing would be drawn from this statement. Karuma's life over lapped Dicken's by 30 years and, it was no coincidence that Dicken's wrote the book he was deciding to mention, "The Signal Man was the book that, uh, caught my attention. The guy saw his own death. I can't imagine that." He smirked here as if he thought it were fantastical. "Obviously, it was overshadowed by good ol' Scrooge." As he rolled his eyes his hip fell into the side of Morgan's table, where he remained leaning. Clearly, Morgan hadn't succeeded in chasing him off yet. "That's not the class I was talking about. Nah, nah..." His voice trailed off so quietly it was hard to hear in the echoing cafeteria and as it escaped into the noise, it drew his eyes off with it. "The weird, Intro to like... everything?" His voice was amplified by his turn back to Morgan and came in with startling clarity. For once he seemed completely present in his own body. "It's like environmental studies this marking period. Tactics almost. What'd he say... like knowing your surroundings? Weird class, I know but. That's where I remembered seeing you. It's interesting though, to learn your environment by something a little more then simplistic instinct. Almost be in their heads." He squinted and moved his hands as he spoke before closing them back over the bottle. "You'd be... well, anybody'd be surprised." He caught himself and tried not to lecture the kid. It would give away his secret if he went into details on any topic of any class to much. He would either appear crazy smart or something to conspicuous. He was hoping, if anything, rumor would have it he could just be that really smart kid from some prestigious school somewhere. Or maybe home schooled. He could even deal with being a smart Asian kid. Whatever they wanted to come up with, anything but his own sick game. "But yeah, no." His voice dropped flat and he stared at Morgan. "I didn't forget. Or have you not been paying attention?" He flipped the tables on Morgan with a clever smile. He was referencing his Mr. Perfect Answer reputation in classes so far today. Teachers favored picking on him as he always seemed to be zoned out but alas, that thrill would wear off. The seer could always back track or fast forward to get the desired answers.

Kirin picked her way along the rafters, careful not to let herself be seen by all the students sitting below. It wasn't that she was anti social, she just had a better time following people around. Especially ones that might lead her to food. Such as the vampire sitting below her. She had followed him every chance she got, wondering when he would finally try to drink from someone. Waste not, want not, she chanted to herself. Inching ever closer, the girl attempted to hear what was being said. As an ocelot, Kirin could cling easily to the wood and use a cat's keen hearing to pick up stray comments. she had almost gotten close enough to hear Morgan, at least that's what she thought his name was, when another man showed up. She stifled a hiss, furious at this intruder spoiling her chance at ease dropping. with a muffled growl the cat made her way back to a cross in the planks and crouched, ready to leave if her presence was detected. As the two talked the embers of her anger slowly burned hotter. Whoever this new person was gave Kirin the feeling of older. She hated adult men, hated them all. To her all men were the same, selfish and evil. How dare this new person try to corrupt the vampire she'd decided to follow. If Morgan changed into a man then she'd be forced to find another young vampire, and after weeks of searching for one this young too. Her tail swished in fury of not being able to attack, but instinct told her that a lot of damage would be needed to bring him down and the shape shifter wasn't ready to deal with the consequences. Resigning herself, reluctantly, to her fate of waiting the conversation out. It's a good thing I'm a cat, she growled. (reeaaallly hope this is ok >.>

Sigh. Lunchtime -- the time to finally settle down and rest the tensed hand muscles working and aching from doing a strenuous tasks of writing. The boy had gone through the first quarter of the day without any overly stressing objectives or scaring tactics pulled on him like another boy once had. The boy that now swarmed his mind; thinking about him kept him in level with the ground and in a blissful mindset. It was what he looked forward to through breaks. The acceptance of what he preferred and what he liked had been a weight off his shoulders now that he had found the life line he needed to continue out without the constant fret of getting ridiculed. His dependence on Morgan was that of an overprotective mother to a child or similar to it and sometimes Lucian questioned how would he had survived without this newcomer that had graciously stolen his heart in the oddest of ways with contrasts and comparisons to Romeo and Juliet. The usual pensive smile covered his creamy lips as he made his slow way through the halls that contained a musical memory. Crimson eyes dodged over the walls before falling on the window sill and through the glass, taking a peak to the outside world. The memories that the full moon had been witness to caught the tickling sensation of agitated butterflies in his stomach. The bustling noise of loud teenagers, however, altered his expressions in the blink of an eye. His preferred smiles turned into a thin line as the dark, bloody colored orbs fixated over the Great Hall. The crimson disappeared, the sensation quickly overwhelming his body. An array of emotions washed over his body, leaving an aftermath of chills and goosebumps over his skin and lifted the hair in the back of his neck. His hand swept over his white button up shirt, the digits catching the shape of the button before fidgeting with the neck collar. The hand skipped through the chest and snaked up his neck and in between his red locks, soothing the crackling chills catching up with his head. The wave of spirited emotions caught him in a sudden freeze and his eyes scattered around quickly to find their usual comfort in the darkness until the usual black locks caught his attention and the feathery black wings -- something he couldn't dodge. His mindset warped to a more secure place, the vision marred inside his head with the different whispering voices tunneled into Morgan while his legs did the job of carrying him with ease in between the tables till reaching the boy. With an urge of silence, Lucian took a seat near the vampire before his peripheral caught the tall frame of Karuma's lips moving easily. The features and frame had registered familiarity -- he was one of his teachers for the class he had chosen this year. How odd to find him conversing with his boyfriend. Shrugging it off, the vampire settled the tan bag on top of the plywood table before a particular emotion caught him off guard. The emotion had discerned as natural rivalry, a chagrin that something hadn't gone their way along with hints of curiosity, curiosity in search. The emotions blanked the expressions on the boy's features while in the back of his mind, a female voice resounded. It was a natural threat to the vampire, someone or something was searching for something of his, the presence wasn't too far away but what? As his livid features flushed of all hints of color he could ever had, his body stiffened in the chair, grasping the sides with unnatural force causing the wood to protest a little with the indentures caused on it.

Scents wafted all around her, causing her stomach to clench involuntarily. She had been too busy shadowing Morgan to remember that she had yet to eat. Her instincts pulled her both ways; she needed to feed, yet if Morgan left then she'd have to hunt him down all over again. she growled in frustration. What made people talk so damn much? Where these two close, is that why the conversation just dragged continually until the innocent ocelot was forced to move? She rose to her four paws and stretched her lean body until her muscles protested in pain. Slowly she relaxed her body, releasing the tension of laying in the same position, when a familiar scent passed her sensitive nose. There was another vampire nearby. Her pupils contracted, searching out the owner of the scent. She lifted her wet nose to the air, flaring as she realized who the scent belonged to...Lucian....he had been hindering her ability to skillfully track Morgan from the beginning and she was getting fed up with it. At first Lucian had seemed like the perfect candidate, but he was both too sensitive to her whereabouts and was too close to the age she considered adult. That was, if she ignored the fact that he had the spicy scent of canine on him. Knowing perfectly well that she was being backed into a corner; leave or show herself to him, Kirin chose the latter. She wasn't abandoning her chosen vampire to something that barked. Deciding that an ocelot was hardly conducive to attempting to intimidate Lucian, the girl shifted to a panther and yawned. Shifting after such a long time required energy that she had yet to replenish. Satisfied that she looked dangerous enough to hold her own, she padded across the plank until she sat directly above Lucian. She shook her large black head, sending the little bell hanging from her ear into a soft tinkling fit.

Morgan sighed, a sigh that continued through his body, causing his wings to flutter slightly. The action lasted no more than a Moment. Didn't this kid know classes where for the times between break times. "yeah I know that one" How could he forget. It was one class that had been thrust apon him by his mother. It was going to be a long class, but at least Lucian was in the same class, That was it's saving grace. " I'd be the one that fails the class Karuma" He shrugged. A fact that didn't phase the student. . Morgan frowned , He was sure someone was watching him , yet a scan of the hall found no suspect. It hadn't been the first time it had happened, and it unnerved him a little. The very fact someone could be watching him without him knowing. How did you deal with that. No one knew yet as far as he knew about his little stalker issue.
Looking around he did spot the boy he had been waiting for. A smile soon beamed itself across his lips. "How was Class?" He asked as always. And always Morgan didn't care fir the trivialities of the classes they didn't share. But it was a regular conversation starter. Today though his words seemed greeted in silence. Which then triggered his productiveness over the older boy. A few scenarios ran through his mind. Something or Someone had upset his beloved. And when that happened Morgan personally decided it was an upset to him too. Then he Delt with it. Watching Lucian stiffen in the chair, Morgan was instantly on his feet. Moving behind Lucian he loosely placed his arms around him. Offering comfort to the threatened soul, Crouching slightly so he could whisper in his ear words of comfort. "Lucian what is it you want to go outside get some air love?" he asked not wanting to pry and send the redhead into emotion overload.
~So stalker you listening in today~ He had no idea if Kirin could hear him And he didn't have the time to look fir her. Lucian would have his full attention, as he sort to bring the empath back to his normalcy ~I bet you're a girl, No boy would be that cowardly to hide ~ It was words he didn't expect an answer to. ~Whatever I don't care, bit no this if you are the one thats upset my boyfriend. I will feast on you as my next meal understand?~
(i hope its ok and fits with the prpgram anything that needs changing pm or something)

Karuma's right eyebrow rose questioningly as Morgan gave a full body shudder. He hadn't felt a chill and certainly hadn't deemed anything he said so offensive. He did say what he thought he said, right? Karuma's eyes shifted to the left, squinting. Right? He wondered if he had said something ridiculous or foreign. It wouldn't be the first time his mind disconnected from his mouth and he spoke a foreign language or details of something he was seeing. The later hadn't happened so the first was probable but, he doubted that was the case. He could feel something else now, a sensation that alerted him that Morgan's shudder might not have been caused by him at all. The dawning awareness was of thoughts with out words, the life pulse above him. It was different then the heartbeat a vampire or other predator would sense. It was a strong, electric pulse, something like a wave force. They were minor and easy for him to tune out something like sensing magic energy or the sixth sense feeling you have when you're being watched. This however, was much more accurate and reliable then that creeped on sensation and, when he tuned in, had the same sort of tug, sway and way of passing over that an ocean wave might have if you were standing in it chest deep. Karuma restrained his eyes from straying to the beams above him and instead let them go towards the red haired boy sliding into the seat next to Morgan. It didn't take an oracle to know the relation, the light that burst across Morgan's face upon seeing the other teen hit the nail on the head. The unsuspecting onlooker might have been confused at first but Karuma's past demons tipped him off instantly. His unfortunate, crystal clear vision burst into his head with precise imagery of his past. His cousin, his enemy. Karuma was the one cringing now. His right hand clasped the bridge of his nose. The kids on his left were blatantly in love, or so the dark little one was. The red head however, he noticed was very distracted. Unrequited? No. His eyes squinted in thought. The red haired one looked empty headed, distant. A smile ripped across his lips. That's familiar He could relate to that look, he was a dead head himself and had been informed, daily, that he was so spacey, so blonde. Neither were deniable. The cracking chair brought his thoughts in full circle and proved to be a second hint for him, letting him learn a thing or two with out having to touch. The kid was experiencing something supernatural or perhaps, a little stupid jealousy? He couldn't be sure and he was mildly creeped out by Lucian's silence. However, he again drew a connecting line from Lucian's actions to himself. Still, his eyes lingered on the white knuckles. What? Karuma had to know, he couldn't help it now. The blind blues shot up to the beams and stared directly at Kirrin's lounging, sleek form. The large form of a cat had surprised him enough that, rather then lounging against the side of the table he stood on both feet. His jaws, having parted when he looked up, now moved in a slow circle as though he were chewing gum. Baffled with their guest, he simply looked back at Morgan. "Do you need a moment or something? I mean really, I can go." His tone was sarcastic, he was being rude. He had been completely dropped from their conversation, not introduced and then totally ignored. He had grown up in the last generations of true chivalry and despite the modern times, was still insulted by the childish ignorance displayed today. A smug looked crossed his face, accompanied by a slow growing amusement flourishing with little smirking twitches of the lips. "Oh, a room, maybe?" He shrugged and his right hand flipped upwards, the left hand taking the sloshing vitamin water. "I heard the classrooms were empty at this hour."

How was class? The voice was enough to direct his look somewhere in search of his saviour's face. The eyes still had a distant, glassy haze, but as they scattered, they kept focusing and blurring in small, snipped clips until they reached the dark haired beauty. The smile exalting his features created the perfect imagery of an angel, his personal dark angel. But the boy was slightly shadowed by that same pulling want in the pits of his stomach and doubled by the recognizable teacher. Something about him panicked Lucian inside and lifted the hairs of his skin. The array of feelings dizzying his vision had focused on three separate targets, and two of those made him uncanny while one contradicted the others trying to induce him to a mental breakdown. Focusing on the third to keep him resplendent and lucid, his lips parted to form the correct mimics to answer his question, but the words choked back as his same temperature embraced him, causing his shoulders to shrug to themselves once again. A gut wrenching image invaded over his eyes until they blanked again, his mind warping him around to a place in the school. The film of the vision had been grainy and a faint little blur, but the image was clear. It was Morgan in a summery, tailored dress and standing next to him was a girl, a bit taller than him, slender but with a splendorous beige glow and thick silver locks gathered in a pony tail. The imagery slowly began to rip from the edges of the picture until it torn away entirely and sucked away his thoughts back into reality, the painting gathering in slow hovering pixels to his eyes before the cafeteria regained the place in his eyes just the way when he came here. Blinking away his blank, almost livid expressions, his head slowly craned to look at Morgan but dodged around again, letting his dark crimson's find their way into Karuma's frame. There was a presence in him that gave Lucian some sort of comforting relation but the wry remarks left him in a snag position. There was something inside of him, a personality trait from his parents that wanted to retaliate with a rude comment, but that would nerve the already whirlwind of emotions revolving inside of him. Letting his eyelids fall to the table, the red headed vampire shook his head a little. "Pervert." His whisper was left to be entailed by more little short comments that would elaborate the grave situation storming in his mind but some words were better left unsaid than said at all. His sharp vision let him catch that Karuma had looked up, and the first perceiving emotion agitated fluttering butterflies inside his stomach. His pallid complexion turned his head up and flickered over Morgan to squint into the planks and see a lounging form of a humongous black cat, causing his skin to prickle. A pulsating warning shook his mentality like a natural instinct; that cat was the other high strung emotion creating uncanny pangs inside his chest and breaking apart his mind. "I..." Lucian couldn't choose between actually wanting to get away from the source of his problems or facing it since it was bluntly settled above him. "Look up." His voice cracked in odd places with that demand, but it was whispered to his beloved, helping him understand what was troubling him so far. One of the things.

she knew when her presence was seen, she had expected it. After all, the bell she was doomed to wear made sure of that. Karuma's reaction amused her as well as irritated her. *thanks old man. Not like it was hard enough trying to keep myself in the shadows, you decide to give in to human nature and look. Yeah, just draw everyone's attention to me why don'tcha* Had she been in her human form, the eye roll would have been much more noticed. As it was, the cat could only afford a glance at the owner of the pale blue eyes. Her attention on the two lovers below had to be maintained at all costs. She knew what kind of danger she was putting herself in by not leaving as soon as one person had discovered her. The scent of anger and protectiveness practically overpowered her heightened senses; Morgan was mad. Her human instincts screamed for her to shift and fly out of the large hall, avoid a confrontation at all costs. Kirin was not fond of the pain that came with having her father be who he was. Yet another black mark on his already disgusting self. her mind lapsed momentarily to the last time she had ever seen her father, covered in her mother's blood. The ghost scent of the dark sticky liquid teased her nose, as though reminding her why she was who she was. *a hunter who can't hunt, a girl playing a dangerous game with the race of vampires* she shifted her great body, tensing every muscle in case Morgan for some unknown reason decided to look up. Lucian's reaction was a double edged sword, one she was both grateful and annoyed by. He was keeping her from being noticed, and yet, if he wasn't so emotional Morgan probably wouldn't be covered in the pepper of anger. The empathic vampire seemed to stop her at every turn. *If only ol' blue eyes down there was a vampire, i could get away from this drama. Pity he isn't.* but that thought caused another to spring to life. What was Karuma? she had been so distracted by not being found out by vampires that she had completely disregarded someone who could help or hinder. She managed one sniff before her ears picked up something she wished they hadn't "Look up." a hundred choice curses ran through her head like prey fleeing from the hunter. *Lucian you imbecile! You damned pup!* How had he noticed, after working himself up he had chosen now to look. *of course, he probably noticed that stupid whatever-he-is look at me.* she growled, unconsciously, out loud. her private rant was cut off by one phrase, and one feeling *Morgan's going to see me.* *Run* her body automatically started condensing itself. Long white feathers started taking over the sleek black fur, her sharpened fangs shrunk and melded to form the curved beak, her eyes widened to the round orbs of an owl. She only hoped no one noticed that the color of her eyes, one of chocolate the other a blue so vibrant it resembled ice, had not changed in either forms.

(yup your good....)
The sarcasm wasn't lost on Morgan. Any other time he'd retort back with some Witty one liner, but right now Lucian had to remain his priory. Getting into a fight with some senior kid wasn't going to help the empath. A soft chuckle burst from his lips the moment his beloved spoke "Yeah Lucian, you're right he is" He agreed with a grin. Morgan was determined not to let Karuma get to him over this . He was going to try and shrug it off. Although he did make a note to confront the taller teen later. "That or suffering a huge dose of homophobia Some guys are just like that, they just cant handle us" A soft kiss was placed on Lucian's cheek , " So all that's left to ask, is which is it Karuma, either way I bet it freaks you out right.?" With those last words he was prepared to drop the other's boy discomfort at his action.
"Look up?" He echoed the words. What could be up that had upset his darling beloved. A gaze upwards. At first sight all he could see was a cat. No big threat there , but if it was upsetting Lucian. It would be caught. Sharp fangs elongated themselves. He was going to enjoy the capture of this creature As her form changed he noted it quickly before he lept into the air. Grateful for wings of his own as his form took to the air . Moving quickly he grabbed for the Owl. Knowing he needed to act fast before Kirrin could counter react. He grabbed for her, pressing her wings against her body. Holding her in his arms so she couldn't escape he landed on the table. "Hey smart boy" He addressed Karuma once more "How do you get a shape shifter to come back to her human form?"
It was more than likely a rhetorical question. Now he had his prey he wanted to consume her. To drink her until she was dry. Unless one of them stopped him Kirrin could possibly be in major danger. Sinking his fangs into her neck, he drank a thimbleful before raising his head "damn feathers at least after wards we can turn you into a pillow Bird" He snapped spitting out a feather that had somehow got stuck on his lips. "I suggest you apologies to my boyfriend for somehow freaking him out while you still have breathe" He smirked before lowing his mouth again to claim the crimson liquid that he had in his eyes earnt every dropful.

Karuma's nebulous blues were sent on quick rolls at the younger boys' 'conclusion' of him. Lucian's comment would have been much more effective on his nerves had it gone on it's own but Morgan had to thrown in a cheeky agreement rendering it utterly worthless to respond to. What could he expect of irrational teens? They were driven by emotional, raw instinct. And Morgan, he could tell, possessed plenty of it. It hindered their reactions and obviously their decisions were rather interesting and upon later, calmer though sometimes viewed with regret. Karuma however, well, he was only a slim step above the teenagers on the scales of thought process and proper reactions. His mind worked at a wisened rate but was in reality no better then a twenty some which meant, his insults flew just as immaturely. His eyes steadily fixed on Morgan as his mouth continued to move which subsequently irritated him. "Trust me kid. You're easily handled." He was twisting Morgan's words in the slightest and added a low, scoffing tone. He avoided the topic of homophobia. He couldn't deny it yet he couldn't fully accept it. He didn't mind the individual or their ideals but being left alone with them or pursued by them was an unfortunate discomfort to him and did have the tendency to make him nervous, if not freaked out. However, he would never admit to the fact. "The fact that you're drooling but I'm the pervert, now that freaks me out." His eyebrows rose and his head gave a small nod of affirmation while he casually insulted Morgan's affection towards Lucian. He was prepared to move on when Morgan did as Lucian had provided something else to entertain the young punk. "Look up." It was like a round, the voice in his own head followed by the two boys. Yes! What is so hard about that?!. His arms crossed infront of him and again took up both sides of the bottle, spinning it between his nimble fingers to distract from his sudden impatience. Perhaps it was just because everyone else was noticing now, that delayed moment after him, caused by him. His eyes widened as he watched Morgan leap from the ground, hands extended for the unfortunate shape shifter. The bull headed action appalled him as he found such retaliation unfit for the public. A small groan eased it's way out of his lungs which had been extended for to long in his momentary shock and welcomed the quick collapse. His right hand had moved to his face, sprawling out over his eyebrows and looping down his temples to his cheek bones before falling away. "Hey smart boy," Karuma's sparked gaze flicked towards Morgan, angled to the shape shifter and moved back just as he shrugged at the question. "It depends." He stared at the struggling owl. "Most of them are similar in ability which means it's really sim..." His mouth stopped moving and the color from his face slowly drained to a sickly pale. He held his breath, too transfixed by the gruesome snapping of Morgan's teeth to keep his body functioning through his fear. It transfixed him in a prickly cold that made his limbs feel like dead weight. For the second time he was in this kid's presence, he received an unwelcome trip down memory lane. The oracle mind painted a perfectly vivid picture from his memories; the splash of red was tangible, the memory of the metallic smell of blood was strong enough for him to taste, the screaming bound with in the raging storm of blood, fangs and limbs caused a shiver to sail up his spine, virtually rattling him back into the present. His fingers twitched to life first, and his arms followed with the rest of his body in a fluid jerk. Morgan's figure flooded back into his view and though his eyes blinked to focus, the blinded look still remained intact.
After recovering from his buried fears, the vampire attack hit him in slow motion. First was the matter of being in the presence of an irate vampire. However, the youngling would be easy for him to handle as apposed to the mature vampires on the street who had centuries of perfecting deadly predator talents that gave even his skill a run for the money. What dawned on him next was where this attack was happening, school grounds. Despite the nature of the school, he was certain this event would make several people very displeased and repercussions would not be pleasant, especially if the young one lost his control and did drain the poor girl. What hit him last was it was unraveling all in his presence and he would be held accountable to the nth degree if he was connected to the crime and had not intervened. "You dumb cunning!" The words burst out of his lungs loud enough to pierce through the surrounding cafeteria noise. With a fluid strike, his arms were sailing across the table, water left behind at the corner. His grasping hands clasped around Morgans legs and with a yank, brought both out from under him. Intervention - accomplished but not completed, he saw things through. A ferocious look entered his face in stark and stunning contrast to the placid, composure he had held the entire conversation. The darkness shadowing his face from the acute angles of his scowl made his eyes seem that much paler, brighter and for once, threatening and dangerous. "Were you BORN this STUPID?!" The words were snarled off his lips. Flashes of tan and white marked the chaotic movement of his arms flailing twice in emphasis to his words and once more for something devious. "I'll give you three seconds to let her go..." His voice dropped in volume and octaves, steady and cold as he delivered the ultimatum. "Or the pressure in your head," He held up a closed fist and the pressure was immediately inserted. The movements were for show, he could have done it without moving a limb. His left hand stayed splayed and level at his side, apparently he was interfering with someone else. He was keeping Kirrin in his energy target, however, he wouldn't be as stupid as to pin her in place since her place was Morgan's arms, a deadly location. "is about to get very colorful." He held up one finger signaling that he had already cut into a second. He wasn't being nice or even cautious about it, the "head ache" levels were going to sky rocket on this count. It was something he had always been banned from doing.

Lucian tried very hard to keep a level headed composure, not letting everyone else's emotions consume him and induce him to a mentally unstable coma. Although simple factoring circumstances wouldn't let that happen, his mental state was at risk and vulnerable, absorbing every emotion around him like an unwilling sponge. The air was already saturated with the high strung emotions of hormone-thrived teenagers and although the three surrounding him wouldn't hinder his powerful expense, they didn't quite drive him to the peak of insanity quite yet. His crimsons made sure they took a quick little scan around Karuma but the look was ripped away by his longing boyfriend actually taking the opportunity to listen to him, cutting off the lifeline he relied on so much to cling to. Morgan's emotions were something Lucian often counted on to ease around the rough edges of his daily emotional intake but his own were overwhelming his muscles with heated turmoil at this creature causing his fret. His livid expressions had a bewildered light over his russet eyes, watching as the stealthy vampire lover hopped on the table but why? A new emotion intruded into his senses, a sudden heat of shimmery noises blinding his senses, his vision regaining the same blank expressions as the mental scenery watched the silhouette of a cat morph into a something along the lines of a bird. Immediately in response, when his eyes regained the life of his portrait, his mind reeled into his horror show reality shifting into a bird. His jaw slackened slightly, something more of an angered taint stabbing his sides, prodding into the smooth surfaces of his body. His eyes were staring in wild horror Morgan trying to bite and drain the student transformed into a small sparrow. Another swift second and the recognized Karuma was tugging at his beloved's ankles in mild frustration, the feeling overwhelming his muscles, tensing them in place. Although all of this seemed to happen all too fast for the vague eyesight, it played in slow jagged motions to Lucian's peripheral, another blank stare claiming over his eyesight. The distaste of animal blood washing over his tongue, too cold and unappealing to him. Even though his strange fondness for human life was overlooked most of the time because of his long line of vampire descent, the red-headed empath had grown a liking to frozen human blood. Taking the life of a human wouldn't be in his conscious, these people died or donated their mouth watering, too warm vital ruby rush willingly. The prod of reality watered down on him once again, all these events clustering him into another mental breakdown. His frame acted upon himself before he lifted up from the seat in one fluid movement and jumped in front of Morgan, his hands smoothing over Kirin's feathery body, swiftly stealing the bird from his hands. "Morgan!" Lucian huffed as if breathless by the heartless action. "Don't hurt her!" The hissed whisper escaped his creamy lips unwillingly. The last thing he'd ever want to do in this world was yell at his boyfriend subconsciously like he had just done, although it was clear in the breaks of his tone that his course of blinding action was irrational from his part and nervously done. In another lightning breeze, he was again sitting in the same position of before, holding to the bird to the floor, staring directly at it before gulping down the lump settling in his throat. "Phase back. This is a school. They don't allow magic during school hours!"
