A journal is a more public, not-so-personal way of recording daily things happening in your life like business meetings, a to do list, keeping record of things you've done in during the day or things you'd like to do tomorrow. Goals set to do in the future and others.

Here will solely be your character's journal entry for recording things they want to do, they've done or will do but nothing relating to feelings or personal emotions. Those will be left for the diary entry.

A diary is a personal locked, dark depth to pour personal emotions into and thoughts isolated from people's view or dark secrets in need of being confessed. It's a secure place and a personal confident that will guard and won't hold anything against you. It's your best loyal friend, will listen to anything you have to say and any argumentative explosion waiting to be exposed.

Here lies the personal diary slot for your characters.

LOOKING INTO THE CHARACTER
Your characters had lives before meeting the people or life they create here. Inside, a journal and a diary for your characters are available to fill in the pages and test out the waters for how you want to develop your character. It's a great way for everyone else to get a feel of them before they decide what to do and a great way for you to take your character in the direction you want them to go.

Remember to keep everything PG-13. Other than that, anything goes. Crack your knuckles, expand those horizons and get that muse working.
