The sidewalk was walked upon Brie Larson's feet. Her face told people she was sad, but her words reassured them to leave her alone. Brie felt like she was alone in this world. Her boyfriend just left her for another woman. Apparently, she wasn't adventurous enough. Brie sniffled and shook her head. Tears threatened to expose her and a slender, tan hand dried her piercing green eyes. The sun shimmered and reflected her blond hair. Brie was a beautiful woman and she had never been cheated on before. Her personality was strong and she held her head up high. Some peole were even intimidated by her. She wore tight jeans and a baggy tee-shirt with wild designs on it. Brie looked up at the clear blue sky and sighed heavily. She wished she wasn't alone.

A new lingering presence paced with slow muse along the sidewalk. The shoes were soft mocassins that clicked with windy whispers against the soft ground. It were times like these that he'd miss seeing the rising sun, elevating at its peak against the autumn-blue canopy. The dark violets raised up; he could look at the sun. A level accomplished. Without much notice or care, his steps led him to almost bump into the insanely close, blond haired woman standing now inches away from him, but without a tangent being made. His heightened senses prevented him from any other humanoid or creature contact. His apologetic look quickly shifted to confusion, his eyebrows knitting in a frown in the middle, creasing mildly the skin of his smooth features. This woman looked like she could use some contact or some womanly comfort; after all, women were always best when it came to word comfort. Men were always used for contact, the kind of comfort they needed after talking and blubbering over their best female friend. "Excuse me miss," his voice was light with a rumbling denote in bass depth. "Are you lost?" The only excuse he could come up to at least talk to her.

Brie's heart was splitting in two. She didn't realize how much she loved her boyfriend until he cheated on her and the worse part was that she had caught him in bed with another woman. He didn't even stop when she walked in; he just yelled at her to get out. Green eyes blinked when someone had talked her. What did he say? She wondered. She hadn't caught the question. Losing someone took too much of one's mind. Brie looked at him confused.
"What?" She asked. "I'm sorry I didn't hear you."

"Are you lost?" The young looking man tilted his head briefly, letting locks of darkened violet spike tumble across his forehead. Instead of having his hair neatly spiked and glued with hardening gel, it was let down across, tussled without care but still managing to maintain a neat collect straight across. His eyelids half closed in interest; she seemed disoriented in her own little world. The sharp pang felt inside his stomach for probably disturbing her presence grew sharper but dulled immediately. She was a complete stranger, someone of no to little importance. It wasn't his duty, unlike his sister, to take care or remotely care about the people. His presence had been long since forgotten and his friends were nowhere to be found. "I mean, do you need any help?" The soft, rumbling bass fell flat in the question, there was no real motivating to meet such a woman.

A strand of blond hair dangled in front of her left eye and she blew it out of the away, annoyed. Not with the man, but with the hair. That was when she caught the color of his eyes. They were purple and beautiful. A light red color coated her cheeks and she looked down sheepishly.
"No," she said softly. "I am not lost. I just..." Brie sighed heavily. "I needed some time to think to myself."

Some time to think for herself... don't we all? Leroy had been the epitome of "time to think to myself." After everyone left, that was including his girlfriend which he had a product with, time to think for himself was a vast, perpetual abyss of empty promises and a ghastly future. Nothing seemed appealing anymore, and locking himself away from the world for a while was the best decision he had ever done. Now it was time to revitalize himself and mold a new personality and persona altogether. It was the beginning of a new life, and a new life required events. Perhaps this could be the first, acquainting with a simple stranger that with twice the look, the beauty seemed to slowly assemble. Leroy had never been the hungry boy for a body or face like hers nor would he include that in the start of his new story. On second thought, nothing much would be different, except the new story he'd be making with new people. "Why?" His voice came out unintentionally demanding, but the curious undertone had been wary enough to coax the flat resounded words.

Brie looked at him, slightly confused as to why this complete stranger was interested in her. She didn't trust people she didn't know and she wasn't sure if she could talk to this man. Was he connected to her ex-boyfriend? Brie wasn't sure, but she wanted to talk to someone. Well, she needed to talk to someone. Bottling up emotions was never a good thing for anyone. It only complicated things and made things more difficult to talk about. She sighed heavily and looked at Leroy.
"My boyfriend left me with another woman," Brie admitted. "And I need to think about where I am going to go and what I am going to do now."

Leroy's mood had taken an estrange turnover. His eyebrow raised slightly at Brie's words, a smile tantalizing over his small lips. "Left you with another woman?" His emphasize was on the word that changed the meaning of her reply completely, but he had understood what she was trying to say. It was mean from his part since she was in desperate help of someone to cast away her sorrows to, and she did seem completely disoriented. "I'm sorry. I guess I've lost some touch with humanity. My name is Leroy." His oddly tanned glow hand extended to offer a shaking tangent. "If you need a place to stay, you can stay over at my house. My sister would be more than welcome to lend you a room inside her..." his eyes shifted slowly around their sockets; a simple sign of a hesitation. The next word he was about to speak was going to sound weird to him since he assumed everyone knew about this. Lilly had made it known. "Castle."

Brie shook his hand and then her green eyes widened at the word, 'castle'. Was she fit enough to stay in a castle? She wasn't sure. She had never been to a castle before.
"Brie Larson," she said softly. "And thank you, but I'm not sure...I have never been in a castle before. I do need somewhere to stay though."
She didn't want to burden him at all and she felt like she had. Brie was a sweet person and she had completely disregarded his words about someone leaving her. she didn't find herself pretty at all and now she felt uglier than ever. Brie's self esteem was fragile, almost breaking point. If anyone could see her aura, they could see the pain and weakness and the thoughts of suicide buried beneath the ray of sunshine she cast out.

"It's nothing new." The violet haired young man replied casually as if a castle were just like any other normal house found anywhere. A smile denoting nothing but imp decorated his small lips, taking full notice of her simple, shocked reaction when he mentioned castle. Although he spent the majority of his time outside of his sleeping requiem--with this new found liberty, and sleep wasn't a priority for him--it was still a welcomed place for him. The only people he knew of ever being inside, disregarding butler had been his older sister Lilly and her new found disease named Caleb. They were inseparable beings, often found snuggled together in the couch watching late-night horror movies, fallen asleep one atop the other or in the occasional awkward positions when Lilly's hormones had taken over and made her sweetheart her own test subject for things men usually disliked. A more warm smile covered his countenance, his arm displaying in offering for Brie to take, serving as guidance towards his home where she had agreed to stay temporarily in. "Just a couple of more rooms than usual and bathrooms." The casual tone flowed smoothly. "Give it a try, it never hurts."

Brie smiled and nodded. She took his offered arm and felt a little happy and possibly a little less hurt. A castle sounded like a good place where she could hide. Somewhere away from the world. Everyone needed a break. Especially Brie at the moment. She had lost the love of her life in the most cruel way possible.
"If you think I'll be safe..." Brie said softly.
Her thin lips wanted to tell him everything; she wanted to pour her broken heart out to him for some reason. Maybe it was just to get everything off her chest and off her mind, but she needed to be careful. She didn't want to seem pathetic or weak in anyway.

At least she had agreed to follow alone, a small laugh escaping his lips as she mentioned the conditions she'll go under. Safe was an understatement; the only things that could happen to Brie was get trampled by a stampede of rabid fans. His sister's history with loved ones always kept her a place in the news plus her uncommon social life. All the things that happened to the beauty lately were almost out of routine, but lately, they had become more humanly problematic instead of impossible. These problems she could deal with, and these problems Leroy's mind could be in peace. It was uneasy knowing that sometimes his sister's boyfriend couldn't be stronger enough to act a shield of his own towards her, but it were times like these that he thanked goodness Lilly was a strong enough being that could take care on her own just like she had taken care of him when they obliviously stepped a foot on Earth. "Trust me, you'll be more than safe." He reassured quietly, a hint of a smile plastered in his words, leading the girl into the brim of the lush forest life that led to the heart of the place where the castle towered over some plant life surrounding it.

Brie didn't know how to respond to that statement. She never felt like she was alone or like she was safe and she hoped that Leroy would keep his word. The girl may have looked innocent, but deep down she was atoning for evil things she had done. Well, Brie thought she was evil. Why else would she have a stalker? She didn't know. Brie looked over her shoulder with a flash of fear in her green eyes, but saw no one. She was safe...For now.
"Thank you," she told Leroy softly.
Yes, she was going through a difficult time. Her boyfriend, now ex boyfriend had given her something to make life worth living for. Now Brie didn't know why she was living. She thought that leaving her parents was an evil thing and staking her brother who had Turned into a vampire was evil thing. Even though her brother attacked, he was truly evil and Brie thought she was evil because she had killed her older brother.
She didn't know what to do, but what she did know was that someone or something was after her. Dead or alive, Brie wanted to get rid of that someone or something. She smiled at Leroy and tucked a strand of blond hair behind her ear.
"You're very kind." Brie said softly.
Even though she was talking to him, anyone could clearly see the fear that was written all over her face.

"That's a relief." Leroy spoke lowly, watching from the tail of his eyes how Brie had been observant of her surroundings, as if expecting something to jump out at any given time. Of course, Leroy had already said that it was a sure thing she'd be more than safe, but somehow in some way, he had to reassure to calm down her spiking nerves. It seemed she was paranoid of what would happen in their journey. Subconsciously, he brought her close into a closer tangent, whispering softly near her ear. "I promise that if anything happens to you, if you survive, you're free to kill me and I'd be eternally in your debt." A charming smile crossed his tanned, creamy lips. Although the contact with human nature had been lost, Leroy had always been a charmer with words, but not a flirt. Any pretty lady he'd win over their hearts as long as they weren't annoyingly conceited or conceited at all or the other type of girls that made him sick to his stomach. So far, Brie made a good impression of a naive, broken hearted woman in desperate need of repair, and this was his chance to get back in touch with the tactics he once had.
Crossing over a path, Leroy pushed over a handle of bushes before the elegant, skyscraping castle appeared in their scenery, a beautiful display of a paradise for any god or goddess or simply any lovers that wanted a simple, charming night for themselves. The decorated castle was a display of perfect and flawless, natural beauty constructed and hand sculpted to its finest designs though not modern. "Here we are." Leroy interjected before leading Brie through the towering, black gates lined with gold and silky looking red and unto the French inspired doors at the end of the path that was lined by small rose bushes at either side where behind stood sculpted bushes in different shapes of still and human life.

Brie didn't know what to think as Leroy spoke, but she didn't say anything. Well she didn't say anything until she saw the towering castle. She gasped in surprise.
"Its beatiful." She whispered.
((sorry for the crappy post))
