(for star and by invite)
It was music that broke this sleeping beauty's spell. She could hear faint music, shed heard it before in her dreams as if the music was played over and over again.
Laika rose from her underground chamber dressed in a soft blue dress that was clearly years old and suited to maybe the 16th or 17 th century. And not the 21st
Not understanding why she was under ground she found her way eventually to the surface as Dusk fell upon the city.
Now the city was strange it did not posses the beauty it had four centuries ago. It was Loud and Noisy. No longer could she hear the music that had woken her before, that had woken her to soon from her slumber. A sleep that took her memories so all that she was aware of was her name, and the hunt for power and blood.
Barefoot and fleeing the Noise of the city, she huddled on a park bench, shivering from the shock of the city, and its lights and Noise. Laika wanted an ally in this strange world but she also needed food and that meant Blood.

[oh my :3 it's been quite sometime since i've rped >_>]
Every park has strees and most of the time park benches are put next to them. By chance, the tree next to the left of the cowering Laika had a single, quiet occupant. He was leisurely propped against the trunk, his left foot crossed over his right. Worn hands were lifted the right over the fingerless glove covered left. Between the palms of both hands was a single coin spinning at a pace that made it hum and glint in the warm colors of the glinting sun. The faded blue eyes of the youngman rose from his amusement to the frightened girl. His head gave a small tilt to the right, the movement was accompanied by a cascade of dark colored bangs. The woman was out of place, he had no doubt about it. She looked like a cinderella gone sprinting out of her fairy tale and realizing her horrid mistake, collapsed on he bench. The coin in his hands gave a final hum and a clink as he plucked it from it's mid air spin. With a leisurely push he nearly fell forward off the tree trunk and with a shaky step made a slow approach towards her side. "Are you alright?" Karuma asked quietly, tucking the coin inside his pocket.

Laika's soft red eyes followed the young man's movement. Her fangs extended a little, He would end her blood hunger but a voice whispered in her thoughts No not yet, after all he looked Kind enough, and maybe would help her in this alien world. Her fangs distended hiding the fact she was a Vampire her hand lifted to ide her amusement at his almost fall. "No"She whispered softly not telling her handsome stranger anything else finding herself shy almost "I think I am Lost and I am very hungry can you help me sir?"

Karuma stole a few inches closer to the woman after her whispered 'no' but kept an intentional distance of exactly an arms reach away from her. He listned to her, bowing his head just the slightest causing the dark bangs to fall just above his eyebrows casting a shadow over his unnervingly pale eyes. "I think so. I don't know my way around perfectly but, its enough." His voice was soft but just shy of kind, teetering on the fine line between caring and unconcerned. "We'll find you something to eat first." He gave an offer, giving a slight shrug as though it had been a real question. His hand moved from his side going to her to help her up but a nagging though caused him to pull his hand back and tuck it in his pocket and he took a step back, giving her room to stand.

The closer Karuma came, Laika seem to retreat. It was for his sake as much as hers, namly her fear of the noise of the city, also if he touched her, the only food Karuma would Provide for her would be his own crimsion life blood. She didnt want that yet Not while the teen had a use to her. "What food would you find for me?"Laika inquired standing up and taking a step back, It was an odd question but she had no concept of going to a store to buy food or even what Money was. "Where would you find something I might like Sir?"She asked with a sweet shy smile not even asking the teens name after all when her Master summoned her ,Karuma wouldnt matter, Hed be discarded ,His only use then would be as her supper. After all she was seeking knowledge and nourishment not friendship

Karuma watched Laika rise, taking a fidgety step to the side. "My name's Karuma." He said quietly. Her adressing him as sir was making his skin crawl with the formalities he'd come to hate. It reminded him of people he'd come here to forget. "I dont' know what you like, so I don't know where I'm looking." He replied. "Come on." He'd murmured this part, giving a flick of his wrist and a curl of a few fingers, taking a step on the park walkway heading back towards the city.

"Karuma" Laika repeated his name softly as if savouring the very taste of the boys name. Her eyes didnt leave him and she made no movement to follow him. "I dont want to go back that wa, Its too noisy, except for the Music"She complained softly with a sweet seductive melody and a smile to match. "I would like something red to eat, please , something with meat in it " She looked for words that would hide her true hunger and need. Blood!

Karuma paused, turning to face her. His quite eyes made a scan of her face as she spoke and narrowed in mild thought. "Okay." He spoke it quietly and slowly as que that he was thinking up an alternative. Her request for food had put him into a tight lipped silence and he turned his head to the side for several moments before glancing back. "Are you..." His voice faded as the question changed direction. "Willing to skirt the city? It's quieter." He said pointing towards their right away from the heart of town. The question he'd decided not to ask was if she was a vampire. The sensitivity to noise, the want for red meat. He was young but not naive. There were plenty of vampires in his family to give him some common sense. The other alternative was werewolf or perhaps werecat but who was he to pry into her species? Besides, he didn't have to ask to find out.

Laika smiled unaware of her first mistakes. The request for Red Meat but hunger had overshadowed anything else. She nodded softly "That would be perfect Karuma. Thank you" She answered in quiet tones, as she looked towards the direction he suggested. Maybe she wouldnt bite him after all, He did seem so kind, and so willing to help her, It would all depend on her master's will. After all everything was dependant on that. ~Master where are you~ She wondered as she headed down the path Karuma had indinctied. She was almost skipping as she walked barefoot relaxed in her knight's company unaware she was supposed too of told him her name by now.

[do you want me to wait for Lilly to wander in, or do you not care?]
"Mmhmm." Karuma gave a light, acknowledging nod to her thanks. He'd gave them a careless pace forward, nothing near hurried and for him nearly aimless. His eyes kept fast on her, watching her light hearted prance infront of him before he walked a little faster to not seem like such a slacker. "Are you from around here?" He asked. He was being sneaky, usuing simple questions to fish for bigger answers. He wasn't to bad at reading people, after all their lives bombarded his own day and night whether or not he wanted them to.

Laika giggled softly as she contuined to skip lightly on the Path "Silly I told you that already"She smiled amused hed forgotten her openning words to him 'im lost' "I have just moved here Karuma"She left the words ' I think'. Truth was Home was where her Master was and that was a Mystery to her. So she was Left to improvise on her answers.
She stopped at a cross roads "Wich way Karuma?"She asked quietly . For the Moment Karuma was her guide, for her to follow anywhere and everywhere as long as it led to the end of her thirst.

[h'okay.]
Karuma flashed a weak smile as she teased him for 'forgetting'. He gave a small appologetic shrug. "From where?" He asked as she said she'd moved. He glanced from the ground to her waiting for her reply before he watched his steps again. The grossly pale eyes lifted from the ground and after a blink fixed on the crossroads. "Straight. It'll wrap around." He replied seeing the path would skirt the city as promised. He glanced at her again, still cautious yet for him unnervingly at ease.

Into the cities' highlights, there was just a pub nearby, not too off where the skirts of the city were. Into the wild and raging pub, squeezed and disturbed in between people, directly sat at a stool was an individual. His silhouette from a distance gave a gray speck, and from a close point of view, you'd be surprise at how accurate and how real it seemed up close. His skin was a sickening, pale color, toning into shades of snowy white and pale gray. His fingers were slender, artist-like and frail; his features looked tame when eyes closed. Two little arched, raven bangs dripped down to the corner of either eye, the rest of his hair down, silk raven and straight up to his hips. Dark, cloudy, gray attire atoned his skin color and a red, velvet tie contrasted the rest of his gray-scaled appearance. His slender finger slowly circled around the brim of a glass, his eyes closed until a message in his head slowly slithered. Master, where are you? The figure's eyes opened in a snap to reveal a deep, glowing, devouring shade of lavender. His eyes conveyed a cold, burning look. It didn't quite go with the rest of his features, complex or tone of voice, but it was quite the eerie sight.
Without hesitation, the individual threw indifferently a couple of dollar bills next to his glass and suffocated his way through the increasing crowd, exiting quickly the pub to take hoarse, rough paces down the streets and find his source of voice.

Unaware her simple thoughts had convened a cry to her Master, or that he was finally coming for her she looked back at Karuma, This time she had no clever answer for his question, purely because her Memory was closed to that , that held the answer. "How long till we find food?"She choose to ask the question hoping that he wouldnt remember she didnt ask the one hed given her, as her feet followed the directions the other had given her.
Her soft lips began to hum softly carrying the tune that had awoken her, awoken the blood hunger inside her. She didnt know the tune, just that it belonged to this time, to the band that had been at practise at her waking. It was a soft tune and her voice made it sweet like Honey.

Karuma had noticed her reluctance to answer and didnt' press it. Women were a handful hedidn't feel like messing with. He gave a shrug and looked towards the buildings. "Not long. You don't want to find a meal around here though." He murmured pointing to the buildings they were coming up on.
