(i have no plot just a sprinkling of an idea)
When the people awoke from there nights slumber the saw a beautiful blanket of snow. Everywhere was white and a cool crispness sat in the air beckoning people to come out and pla in the first snow of the year. Nothing unusual about that you might think except a glance at the calender would tell you it was summer. Mischief had been at work the night before, It had frosted windows and ,made walkways slippy with Ice.
Kora had woke up excited. He'd known he was getting a surprise in weeks but hed figured the surprise was his Grandparents visting. When he woke and found it was cold he woke up his dragon "Its Snow outside and its too cold to play outside" Safi complained hating the cold "Whats snow?" the curious boy asked "Soft stuff people pla in its very cold..." Safi didnt get very far as the blind boy was already finding his way to his clothes. "Safi find me warm things please" He begged . Safi shook his head knowing Page wouldnt be pleased but changing into human guise he found the warm clothes the curios boy would need for walking in the snow. Ignoring any other protests from his friend Kora felt his way to the outside.Pausing by the Kitchern door he heard his Mother arguing with a new voice
"Its Just snow Paige" Neo protested crossing his arms "Lilly wont even know. Besides it will only last till Midnight" "You dont change Neo" Page complained still in her nightwear as Neo had woken her when hed called in "No but you did Page no more" Kora couldnt hear the rest of the strangers words as there were muffled "My past has no place here Neo"She rebuked him with a voice that Kora recgonised well. It was his mothers in trouble voice.
Deciding he'd maybe need a friend to help discover what snow was , and Maybe an ally just in case Page was cross at him for the need to sate his curiosty. He crept to his mother's room to see if his father was there. "Daddy?" He called softly "Daddy you there?"
(i wasnt sure if frank would be living/staying at Pages house from time to time so ill leave there for the time being)

[nah, Frankie does live with Page, he wouldn't not live with her. xD its Gerard who doesn't live there.]
Big snores had filtered through the room now that it had been open. However loud the snoring effects were, the man had a nice hearing, so the daddy protest coming from the blind boy was easily recognizable, causing the lazy, sleeping man on the bed to open his eyes a little wearily. A rush went through his body, the light captivating a little too much for his sleepy intake -- he needed some coffee to formally wake up but when it came to his son, Frankie had all the time in the world except when he was performing. "Hey kiddo." The man's voice had a horrible morning ring but still a light tenor. Stirring around in the warmed sheets, Frankie felt with his available hand around his side, feeling the absence of Page on the bed. "She would be awake..." he grumbled lowly, catching the view of little blind Kora hovering over the door. "What's up?" His other hand, which was already full with sheets, draped them out of his way, exposing his long boxers and his white tank top as he hoped out of the bed, walking slowly over to the door to pick up the curious but overly smart kid, already dressed in warm clothing, causing the father's eyebrows to pull together in an encountering furrow, silently questioning why he was already dressed and looking like he was ready to go outside.
The front door had suddenly opened and in walked a man dressed in nicely black settings with straightened raven hair and bright green eyes. Having overly sensitive hearing, the man ear's perked up, listening closely to a bickering occurring in the kitchen, distinguishing the voice between Page and Neo. Shaking his head a little, the man walked silently in like a ghost and in through the kitchen doors, greeting the bickering people with light smiles. "A little too early in the morning to be arguing, isn't it?" With a soft play of his lips, Gerard approached his stressed daughter that he had adopted emotionally as his own and kissed her forehead, greeting Neo, his also emotionally adopted nephew. With a casual stride, the vampire grabbed a mug and poured some hot coffee into his cup, growing addicted like the humans to that substance. "Oh! Neo, I crossed Lilly on my way here. She says she loves the snow and to thank you for it."
[it seemed appropriate >_>]

"Hey Daddy"A large smile grew on Koras face " Mom's Making coffee" He always liked to know where his parents was so it had become a natural habit for him to report on it . He waited patiently for his father to come to him. He didnt share his big news until he felt Frankie's arms around him. Gripping tightly half afraid of falling but that stemmed from his blindness and Not lack of trust in his father " Its snowing Daddy...Its too cold for Safi to play in it but we can go play right now .. please ..." It was only the last word , the please that showed his father his eagerness to go out and discover snow was.
"Tell her that" Neo complained eager to find an allie in Gerard Page smiled "Good Morning father and Neo its to early in the year for snow" "Never to early for snow is it Uncle?" Neo protested as he passed Gerard the cream and sugar not sure how the vampire took his coffee "And see Page Lilly likes it So what's the problem?" Page didnt speak then. Silentally she knew the problem was the lack of potection for Kora. Snow was cold Ice was slippy. Even though he had Safi to look out for him Page was still far to protective over her young son. Yet how could she admit that to her father and half-brother She feared the would never understand. .

Hearing little Kora mention that Page had made coffee made Frankie taste his own mouth, knowing the absence of coffee wasn't very much appreciated by his taste buds. "Coffee does sound nice." The guitarist mumbled, listening to the rest of his son's request. "Ah." Now he knew why Kora had warm clothes on. Safi, his little pet dragon, had helped him get dressed up. He'd have to thank Safi later on for it. Frankie had felt that he'd miss his job as father in the past that Page had kept his son from him however unfit was the man at the time, so he would do anything to spend some quality time with his only son; besides Page and his band, it was the only thing he really had. "Uh.. sure we can, Kora, but daddy has to put on warm clothes first too and get some coffee. Are you sure you want to play in snow too? It's really, really cold, Kora. I know you don't like the cold..." Frankie didn't want to press, but he wanted to make sure Kora really wanted to play in the snow. Waiting for an answer, he settled his little son on his soft bed before digging in through his clothes for some that would definitely keep him warm, fitting himself into jeans, boots and a thick coat, pulling some gloves into his fingers.
Silently thanking Neo for offering him cream and sugar, Gerard took the cream, leaving the sugar aside. He never had an appeal for sweet coffee. After mixing in one of his heart warming delights and taking a sip, Gerard settled his figure to lean against the counter in between the two, watching as they still bickered. "Now, now, Neo, cut your sister some slack. Maybe she has a good reason as to why she doesn't want snow so early, I'm sure." Opening his bright green eyes before taking a sip, the raven haired vampire looked over at his daughter, awaiting for her supportive reasoning to defend herself.

Kora could already hear the whisper of No in his father's words as he was placed on his parent's bed. Frankie was right on one thing Kora hated the cold almost as much as he hated bath times and loud noises."I wont get cold I have my jumper and my coat" He patted his chest as if to prove the identy of his warm clothes for his father. He then asked one question that could be hard on a uncaffinated mind "Daddy Whats Snow like?" The curious boy would never accept the simplist of answers from anyone. "How do you play in it?" He added having never experinced the winter weather before it would be all brand new to him.
Page offered Gerard the warmest of thanks conveyed in a single look "Kora"She whispered not realising the boy in question was already awake and demanding to see Neo's handi work "It was for Kora I did it" Neo tried to defend himself "Kora is blind Neo!"She all but hissed at her brother glad Gerard was between them.Page may not have any magic herself any more but she could still lash out with a well timed punch or kick. "It means he cant see Snow and Ice are a danger to him" She shot Gerard a pleading look hoping he would at least understand. "Not if he has someone to watch him sis you cant keep the boy wrapped up in cotten wool all his life"Neo retorted unable to see his sisters concern over the Matter "Its one day Uncle One day to see snow and every kid should see snow at least once in his life" Neo didnt see the slip up in his words but Page did. "Thats the whole point Neo Kora cant see!"Page let out a long sigh "Father can you explain it to him Hes not listening to me" She just hoped Gerard could make Neo understand her simple protectivness of her child.

While stretching and fitting the gloves over his fingers, scurrying into one of his drawers to look for his favorite beanie to protect his ears for the cold and taking one out for Kora just in case--if not, he had a handy pair of ear muffs to make his young, blind son wear--his eyes traced along his shoulder and over to the bed. He knew Safi had probably given him the idea to play in this snow but was a little too lazy to take him himself. He'd have to strangle Safi later for it--jokingly. "Well.." his light, green eyes rolled around in their sockets, watching around the room, racking through his brain to find the right words to describe snow and how to play in it to a boy that had been born blind. "If you stay in it for too long, you can get very cold and loose feeling in your body which is why you have to wear warm close to prevent that. When you step on it, if it's a little too cold, it makes light, crunchy noises. Uh... if there's a little bit of it, it can melt and turn into ice, so we have to be very careful. You can slip and fall and hurt yourself on snow or on ice." The father had chosen words that would benefit Kora instead of painting a picture with descriptions people could see. It was something that as a father, Frankie had to learn so his blind son could picture how it would feel, smell, taste and hear--helping the senses he hadn't lost but were more heightened than they would ever be. "To play in it, you pick the stuff from the ground, cup it in both of your hands and throw it at someone or you make a snowman." Frankie explained before he ran out of descriptions and disheartened the poor boy with the dangerous sides of snow. All set already with thick socks and boots and everything else, he walked over to the bed, checking to see if Kora had thick socks too and boots and everything else, then slipping the soft fabric of the beanie over his head. "Alright, now I'm going to go get my coffee and we can go play in the snow. If you're lucky, maybe Gerard and Neo can tag along too." With that, he scooped up the small boy into his arms gently and exited out of the room to run into the people in the kitchen, smelling the delight his companion had beaten him to: coffee.
Gerard had seen now what Page's concern really was. Despite the fact that Neo was right about keeping Kora wrapped up in a blanket all of his life, over protected without him being able to learn how to defend himself, while he remained a child and blind, things were meant to be taught slowly until he got it right, sometimes at the right time and perhaps this wasn't the right times. Sometimes, however, the parents and or family could serve as training wheels just to help the boy learn. Taking another sip of his coffee, holding out a mug for Frankie who took it in silence, not wanting to get involved into the bickering yet before he had his coffee, looked over both his daughter and nephew, placing down the cup of coffee on the counter. "Neo, Page is just concerned for Kora's safety. Since he can't see where he's going, he could slip on some ice, and sometimes the ice isn't sturdy enough and even with the right shoes with thick treads you can still fall. Now..." his tone had sounded soft and velvety just to sooth the nerves between the fighting pair, trying to reason from both sides. "Someone could keep an eye on Kora while he's doing it, perhaps help him walk on the snow just so he can experience it and judge for himself if he likes it or not. Sometimes kids need these things to learn, they just need the right support. Why don't you make Neo watch over Kora as well while he's outside playing in the snow, hm?" Gerard didn't make the task easy, but it would be a win-win scenario for both and a getaway from the distraught Page while Gerard took care of soothing over her nerves.

Kora sat patiently on the bed. In his young mind his father was taking far to long to get ready, but the boy had more patience than most kids his age. It had been something that came with his blindness it seemed. Quietly he processed the nformation he was given. Snow was cold and slippery and sometimes wet. He made a face at that thought. A wet Kora was No fun at all. "Like a ball" he grinned at the description of a snowball fight "Will Mommy come and play too? Or is too cold for girls as well as dragons?" He asked as he was once more scooped up.
The only thing Kora didnt want to do is get the coffee his father seemed to need so much . Simply because that's where the fighting had been.He said nothing further. Not even greeting his Mother or grandfather or his strange Uncle of whom he wasnt quite sure of yet. Instead He just cuddled into Frank waiting for it to end. "Sure Ill watch out for him" Neo agreed seeing the advantge a simple agreement would get him. The Snow had been a gift for Kora and this way Kora would get to play in it "Will Safi be coming to ?" He asked knowing the dragon was rarely away from Kora side. Page nodded her agreement "Frank's in charge though Neo He will know when Koras had enough." She ordered her voice quiet, as if the fight had gne from her now she knew shed lost.At least her son had been dressed warmly that was some small relief for her.
