[[And here it is! Sorry it took me so long to put it up.]]
The night had finally arrived: it was the night of all Hallow's Eve, or better said, Halloween. A night where anyone and everyone could be someone OR something they were not. If anyone had the delirious sense of dressing as something else, the right time was on every thirtieth of the month of October, the great orange and black celebration.
Darkness Ritual had been a great believer in myths while back when it had been created. Since it originally was found as land of the dead, when constructed amongst it, every Hallow's Eve, the dead rose again from their eerie grave to haunt the streets towards their phantom life. Since they were disturbed souls that never experienced the opportunity of finding the light, their spirits kept a possession over the lands, endlessly marching in a perpetual circle. Because of the poor tortured spirits still roaming the land, inhabitants thought it would be a nice place to create a more spine-chilling history to add to their history books, finding out in a cold-blooded murder or excruciatingly inflicted pain that, even when restless, the spirits of the dead weren't meant to be desecrated. So on every Hallow's Eve, a curse is set upon the stroke of midnight when the day would change from 30th to 31st, binding the costume with the person until the night was over. At first, it might sound like a splendid idea, but when you truly experience being the position of something you're not, dementia slowly settles in. Even the most enduring have failed to go through it, gone insane, or chose a self-inflicted murder...[/size]
The story had fallen from wonderfully luscious, perfectly rosy lips to a mass crowd of overly curious children in amateur costumes. Icy blue eyes scanned their frightened expressions, some of them even intimidated by the fact that the story had taken place long ago in the grounds the stood in. A smile slowly danced across the perfectly tainted lips, exposing glinting pearly whites with two sharp fang-teeth. "It's just a story..." the flawless woman reassured in a lullaby tone, somehow soothing away the goosebumps in every child's skin. With a friendly wave, the stunning girl stood from her position; a slender, porcelain hand stroking across a fiery crimson strand, tucking it behind her ear compulsively before disappearing from the location and back to the tables nearby. With the trauma the girl had experienced two years ago in one of her Halloween parties, last years had been canceled, but this year, she wouldn't let such an opportunity pass. Everything had been set up beautifully in enchanted arrays of contrasting oranges and plain blacks with some tinting whites and some matching yellows to create the more airy aspect of a true Halloween night. Pumpkins were carved into different expressions, even flower arrangements with autumn feels were scattered around to help the air. Some cheesy, old-fashioned things were also decorated around, things and shapes that could describe Halloween if someone were to try it using only one word: witches, arachnids, pumpkins, orange, black, bats, brooms, cauldrons, skeletons, vampires, ghosts, scary, spooky, etc. There was a wide selection of words to include into the terms of "Halloween."
Gliding across the dark grass while eying around the orange lights and streamers, the hour glass shape of a woman finally came to a halt in front of a tell-tale mirror, examining in vain her slender form and fitted costume that consisted of a fitted on a torso but long and flowish-like red dress that sort of heart shaped into her chest from the stranded sleeves on the side of her arms. Her hair had been pulled up into a sophisticated looking arrangement with curled strands falling on her shoulders and accentuating her facial contours. A ruby pendant, instead of the two silver rings on her necklace, stood in her necklace in shape of a heart. Tonight, the breath-taking goddess was The Red Queen. It was nothing too fancy or too complicated. Lilly always tried to devote herself to her holidays as much as possible, but with the little time she had in her hands lately, all she could pull off were last minute things, and this was the most complex last-minute-thing she could pull off.
After checking and reassuring that her light, natural make up was in place and that her hair had remained as intact as when she had styled it, the dancing glides turned into a different direction, finally ready for anyone's arrival. Hopefully, this night would be as promising as she expected, but not as promising as history books predicted it to always be.
[[sorry it's so crapy -_o it's like 12:30 AM and my eyes have been complaining for a shut eye since 3:00 PM and since I woke up at 5... well, let's say this is all I could make out of my muse. P.S. Tori, when thinking about Lilly's costumes, I came across certain things that I would fit just perfectly for your characters, and I just had to let you know. xD Rio - Catwoman. Evita - Belle from Beauty and the Beast. :3 And that was it, actually. xD I just found it amusing when I thought of it.]]

[du bist im Labyrinth!]
The flock of children rushing away from the Red Queen traveled with the speed and rushed talk and giggles that only Halloween's infamous promise of candy could give them. The adrenaline rush would soon enough run it's course but for now they were a nuisance equal to the goblin costumes on their backs. They swept across the grass in every direction imaginable, wherever their little hearts thought the night's biggest treasure would be. A clever few of the group had dashed away to a table adorned with cleverly themed decorations, flickering candles but most importantly, the party's delicious delights. Little wide eyes moved quickly down the table searching for the best thing to grab first. But as their eyes made it to the end, the sight caused them to shriek and giggle. It was the tallest giant they had ever seen.
The spectacle of their amusement was holding a cookie to his lips, staring back at them with more wonder then they at had towards him. One small girl in a sparkly purple witches costume crept up to him. "Do you know what'll happen to you at midnight!?" She asked, her voice climbing to octaves the giant had never even known. He simply shook his head, cookie still pressed to his lips. "You'll be stuck like that forever!" Her eyes were wide with horror and earnesty was plastered on her face as though she were saving his life. Then she began to reiterate Lilly's story with details arranged in such a fashion that the man couldn't keep up with what was happening. "Mmmhmm." He nodded and fit more cookie into his mouth, his eyes were wider then the kids marveling at his height, which to them was quite a height. His slowly disappearing cookie was more disheartening to him then the rambling story. He examined the last bits, wondering how much he could make of it. Deciding it would intact have to all go in his mouth, he popped it in, patted the girls head and stepped around her. His attention was drawn away by a girl with a little more to offer.
Caleb meandered over the grass towards a dazzling spectra of crimson color. Though his heart had been fittingly captured by the mistaken, "Queen of Hearts", he still had the impulse to check himself over for perfection in her presence. Polished black shoes still shone against the color of the grass, winking up at him as he looked down. Black dress pants with minimal dark red trim were still on him, that's all that mattered in his opinion. A white dress shirt was spotless of crumbs though hidden partially beneath a black vest of swirling, grasping design over a coarser black fabric for a mild contrast with slender silver buttons fashioned as tiny bones. Over top of this was a jacket of a dark red color, high wasted with a long knee length coattail, which on him, missed its mark. Around his neck, his bow tie hung rather loose as, even for the occasion he hated it with a passion. The final point of his inspection was his head. After a quick touch, he was reassured the top hat was still in place and over processed white blonde spilled out from underneath it. Being assembled, he approached his Red Queen adorning an impish grin.
"Hey you." The words proceeded the encounter of his hand to her hip. There were black lines drawn around his eyes of an equal and outlandish thickness. On his left eye, four lines of different lengths spilled out of the perfect circle. One line pointed to a miniature drawn "10/6." The make up succeeded in creating an uncanny depth to his blue eyes, heightened the spark created in them upon encountering his love. "I like this..." His other hand scored the air to point out the details she put into the party decorations. "Oh, and, I like this a little bit too." A finger trailed along the fabric of her dress. His smile broadened in it's usual form when he was harassing her.

It had been a long time since Phoenix had last dressed for Halloween. Her hair was up in a bun with a light blue headband, gracing it with blue earrings to match. Her long, satin dress with matching baby blue gloves completed the outfit. She was tonight Cinderella in all her ball finery. The only thing she lacked for the moment was her Prince Charming. Morgan who had ditched his parents the moment he’d arrived. Phoenix's youngest child was dressed as Aladdin. He wore white baggy shorts and a simple tattered red waist coat. On his waist was tied a simple lamp to complete the outfit. There was only one he wanted to see here. Only one made this party worth while. "Lucian!" He called hunting through the rooms for the boy Morgan was seeking. "Lucian where are you?"

Children, that was all the scanning view had provided and in little disappointment, the head tilted around, double-checking every area, hoping someone familiar would come and soon--of course, the one person that the Red Queen tonight was hoping for was her dearly beloved, her adoration, the only thing that could truly make her happy in this world. As if in cue, familiar strong hands lightly perched on her offering curves. The icy blues trailed around to watch as he pointed around, complimenting on her arrays and nick-knacks for the party. Hopefully, everyone else that attended--if they attended--would enjoy the orange and black view as well. If not, it wouldn't of been much of a problem. It had not taken that long to arrange, although it had taken a lot of planning to actually bring it to life.
Instinctively, the cool, porcelain hands trailed up her own fabric, a smile dancing accordingly and shyly on her lips as her fingers trailed up to meet Caleb's hand, perching lightly on his with somewhat of a hold. Lilly's eyes searched once again around herself and her angel, expecting a Tyler with him but there was no sign of him. Thank goodness he wasn't here to ruin a perfectly decorated party like the last Christmas party she had offered. Dragging the icy blues around the outskirts of her party, the stunning Red Queen twirled around in her saint's arm to scrutinize the costume he was currently wearing. The eyes fell on his tailcoat before it changed directions towards his bow tie and finally met up with his momentarily before taking notice of his top hat. The glee in her eyes sparkled before they slowly tinted into a softer blue, going through a symphony of matching blues and purples before they finally fell between a diamond-like red effect. "Mr. Mad Hatter, glad you could join the party." The goddess mocked with a slight English accent. Being alive for centuries, accents picked up immediately. With a light smile and a half attempted curtsy, the stunning woman fluttered her lashes once more before her eyes fell upon his. "I like this..." while her slender finger pointed up and down his attire, the 's' kept a slithering stress until she had finished pointing out the things she had liked the most from his outfit. The big eyes squinted into an almond shape, marveling his eyes. "I also, very much so, like the eyeliner." With an airy chime of laughter, her thumb caressed in circles around his cheek. "How's your sister?"
In the midst of the crowd of children, a much taller figure stood out. The slumped form was leaning against a tree nearby, watching with boredom his surroundings. The crimson-haired vampire had trailed along with his mother, but not close enough to follow along and keep up like a clingy child. After he had helped with all the arrangements needed that she couldn't reach, the boy had gone his own way to slip into his costume and await for something mildly interesting to happen. A tanned hand slowly trailed along the fabric of his black slacks. The boy had decided to impersonate a red-headed version of James Bond and did a pretty good job at arranging the attire. Everything consisted of an elegant tuxedo that was black except for the inside shirt and the bow tie, one being white and the other being red just to color up the outfit a little and also match his hair. A toothpick gave agitated flickers in between his lips every time his bright crimson eyes darted in different directions, seeing if he even spotted someone remotely interesting. The toothpick untucked from his lips and fell with a silent click click on the floor. The bright eyes caught sight of something similar... his boyfriend dressed in an Aladdin suit. A smirk played nicely over his lips, his eyes sweeping back to himself as if he had gotten unnoticed, waiting for the boy to notice him instead.
[boo, my post sucks but I didn't have enough muse. I just didn't want to post a week later or something. xD]

[ahha, this format is even worse then it was a few days ago. how sad.]
Having been recognized for the character he was imposing, Caleb smiled. The word of his sister, that he resembled the Mad Hatter good enough for Halloween's sake, had been able to get him to the party but the second opinion had put his skittish mind at ease. He waited for her to inspect him, the inherited half smile played ready at his lips. "Oh do you?" He asked, his voice rising up the scale to a trouble some note. He inched a little closer as her eyes came to his. Her next comment deterred his grin. He'd forgotten about the atrocious amount of black make up coating his eyes. Being a man of the spotlight, he was well adjusted to wearing make up for certain things, but the thick, dark rings was strange to him. When he thought about them, he could almost feel his eyelids sticking. "Thank you..." His voice trailed off half-heartedly and the right side of his face shrunk to mime the unvoiced, I think. His immaturity cleared and his face brightened, a common trait when he talked about his sister or his girlfriend. "She's doing really well today, and she's here somewhere." He glanced over his shoulder as he spoke, wondering if he could spot the dazzling girl. Evita had a quiet adoration of Lilly, a sort of fascination Caleb had inspired in her but, he didn't have to tell Lilly, he thought it was obvious enough that she made a point to appear, if only a moment, just for Lilly. "In fact, she did this to me." He pointed to his eye make up. "She wanted me to wear a mask, but I didn't feel like it so we compromised. It's weird but, she really likes Halloween. She says because, in theory, nobody knows who is behind the mask. You can be somebody else for the night." Caleb shrugged - the point was meaningless to him. "It's weird but, it works in her head. She's not as quiet on Halloween. I guess it's something Karuma told her." He mumbled the last part, still had odds with his older brother for every minuscule reason possible. "So, she came with out needing convincing or Darien to walk her through the door." Caleb's eye gave a small twitch. He wasn't fond of Darien. He harbored a fraction of jealousy that his sister was now relying heavily on Darien rather then him. He hadn't come to terms with the gratitude Darien deserved for caring for his nerveless sister which in turn, freed his hands to do virtually everything he needed.
Evita had strayed from Caleb shortly after their entrance. A pale, strapless yellow dress adorned her figure. Fabric was draped around her arms, just off the shoulder. The dress hugged her abdomen from the chest down to her waist where it began to flare out into a large skirt. Parts of it were pulled up to create a bunched, undulating effect. These sections were held in place by circular, diamond decorations. The dress looked like it had been bred of prom dreams and fairy tales. Her dark hair had been partially pulled back into a sheer yellow ribbon but her bangs remained to frame her face. Covering her face from the eyebrows to the top of her cheekbones was a delicate, sparkling masquerade mask. The base of the mask was colored a pale gold with faded white over tones creating a dusty, metallic look. Swirling gold designs were etched above and below the eye, filled in with gold glitter. Around the eyes and down the nose was silver glitter which was also placed in the top center in five elliptical shapes, the longest being in the middle stretching just to the top of the nose. Finally, the mask was outlined with a gold fabric, sown to zigzag up and down. In the lighting of the candles she had stopped next to, the fragile girl seemed to be made of some precious metal, a sparkling gem in a darkening night. She pulled at the pale yellow gloves on her hands, they rose up to her arms but, considering the style of the dress were a very warming accessory. The green eyes peeking out of the glittery mask were searching for two people, Darien and in his absence, her brother. Despite her optimism of the night and the bravery she had started it with, she wasn't ready to be left entirely alone here.

"Hello Lilly." Phoenix smiled in greeting to her host. She had given up on Llyan arrive anywhere on time. "Caleb, you guys look perfect in your costumes," She praised smiling at her cousin. Unlike when most families met she wouldn’t ask his mother was or his siblings. "How are things with Delta?" That was the one thing she'd inquire from him. After all as far as Phoenix could remember besides Lilly was Delta was Caleb's pride and joy. Morgan finally spotting Lucian stood for a moment. Taking a few minutes to look the red headed boy over, approving of his choice of costume "So Bond we meet again." He grinned unable to resist the infamous line as he walked up to his boyfriend. Instead of pulling him into a sweet embrace along with a sweeter kiss that he was sure would make his love uncomfortable. He reached over and stroked the boy's face letting his fingers caress the cool skin instead as they trailed along his cheek ending of course on his chin. Then he kissed him the briefest of kisses on his lips. It was probably too much for the shyer boy Morgan hadn’t been able to resist in the end; he’d just had to claim what was his.

[Fixed. Sorry I had to basically delete it and re-post it but it was bothering me... a lot.]
Lilly scanned Caleb's expression as he spoke. Very observant, she took critical notes of each of his reactions to her compliments, noticing the disheartened, crestfallen expression when she commented on his brilliant eyeliner. Not knowing very well that he felt odd about the eyeliner, the stunning woman offered a play of her stained lips at the hear of Evita's thought on it. The smart, beautiful girl never said much, but when she did, she always made a fabulous impression in the goddess' eyes at least through her saint's lip. The way he spoke of her older sister, like he had a certain protective edge over her was something very admirable in Lilly's eyes even though she hadn't had the pleasure of even talking to the girl besides one or two sharing words. Fond of the way her adoration spoke, Lilly very well hoped to see Evita around, even if for a few minutes. With bright and big sparkling eyes, the porcelain skin woman blinked in comprehension to his speaking sentences, clearly intrigued like a child distracted by bright colors. "What a cute idea. The mask thing. What a bright girl she is." The beautiful woman spoke in her high soprano, silky tone in a dazed and farther away voice as if admiring more than she should. The masquerade idea sounded splendid to her, but rewinding back to two years ago, it wasn't such a great idea to not know who everyone was. The vampire didn't want to intake any more risks and put everyone in trouble, especially with children around. Thankfully, Gerard had dropped down his ghastly ideals and ways so Lilly hadn't been as preoccupied anymore; it was a sure weight lifted off of her shoulders.
The smooth expressions of the goddess had suddenly tightened around the eyes the smallest, the skin around her eyebrows puckering together in some sort of confusion. When Caleb spoke the name Darien, a familiar pang hat hit her in the stomach. Lilly felt like she'd known that name before, like she had spoken it before or have heard it before or like she knew who her boyfriend had been talking about. It felt like she should have known, but she didn't even though she wanted to, creating a bit of frustration to cross her dazzlingly beautiful features.
Somewhere near, finally managing to shadow over the precious sunset nearby the candle lights neatly and purposely placed over the table had been a tall, handsome man. The costume he wore had consisted of light blue colors and whites tailored into a nicely woven, silk tuxedo with only black on his feet and adorning his tie. Golden trims delicately swirled along his cuffs and pants and buttons, creating a light sparkling effect. His hair, usually braided to maintain in his back and a light blue top hat covered most of it although some strands still managed to peak from underneath the soft fabric, still managing to look extravagant in his own cavalier taste. Since the light of his eyes, his favorite girl, had dressed exactly what she should be, a beautiful princess, the guardian angel had decided to dress as the supposedly beast from the Beauty and the Beast story which seemed fitting since Evita had dressed herself as Belle. With a simple smile and a light clear of his throat, Darien presented himself to the radiant beauty before taking her hand and lightly kissing the soft, satin skin of hers. "Evening, miss."
Lucian's expression brightened softly as if in command when his dear Aladdin approached. Maintaining the character from his costume, his expressions stiffened a little once again just to withhold the seriousness James Bond held as well. Of course, that would never last long. Morgan had always found a way to make Lucian blush or smile or just present some sort of embarrassment, but not necessarily a bad one. As expected, the frozen expressions slightly puckered into bashful features when his boyfriend pressed his cool, smooth lips against his. Lucian, however shy, could never resist one of those kisses shared between two strongly felt emotions. Stiffened by the action, Lucian blinked several of times, trying to clear his voice so he wouldn't seem so foolish in front of his beloved. "Nice costume." A smug expression crossed his lips as he said it, admiring the boys exposed skin.
[sorry it's crappy again, lolol. this is all I could pull off from my muse.]

[it's november, you're fine. xD]
Caleb titled his head just enough to cast an angled squint at his girlfriend while keeping the top hat steady on his head. The change in her emotions, hadn't registered to him as a reaction to every word he said. His mind was entangled in the first reaction and to him, the most important. The reaction to his sister. "You women are..." His eyelashes closed in a little tighter and a crease formed between his eyebrows."Weird." His voice sunk to a bass tone, muffling the word. He was aware of the adoration his sister had for Lilly and, in turn, Lilly's praise of the girl whenever she was mentioned proved to him the feeling was mutual. Then, by the unwritten law of men they should talk. You were either friends or you were not. He didn't understand the concept of admiring from a far. It was ridiculous, strictly weird woman behavior. "Anyway...." Caleb's fingers found their way into Lilly's hand, wrapping themselves around the delicate icicles hanging by her sides. He was well adapted to the speed and stealth at which they stole away his warmth. He brought them to himself, closing the other hand over hers. "Let's go be the center of attention." He grinned and stepped aside to reveal a clear pathway towards her gathering guests.
Evita's painted lips moved into their slender, 'glance and you'll miss it' smile. She gave a small curtsy as he came near, playing her part with practiced ease. Then, Darien had a way of subtly but suddenly catching her off guard. A rose red blush opened up across her cheeks, spanning the distance from her cheek bone and down towards her jaw, fading off just before it touched. "Good Evening." The feathery voice barely touched the decimals of a whisper but, as though she were graced with some magic, her voice was heard. Flustered by her gentle guardian, she began to stroke the ends of her hair with her left hand. The movement was slow, she had learned to mask her nerves quite casually but guardian and family were becoming skilled experts in her flaws. "You look handsome, like a prince." By small degrees, she twisted at the waist. Her compliment was more expansive then it sounded but the words she wanted to use, she would never let go from her mind.

Morgan smiled. He could relax now he'd claimed that kiss and gained approval on the outfit hed choosen tonight. "Thanks, although I think you look hotter. That suit looks great on you" He complimeted with a smile as he looked Lucien up and down licking his lips as he did so.The dark haired imp had Mischief on his mind so wasnt as careful as usual when he complemted Lucien's looks. The Aladdin suit had been choosen with care as it would be different to other guests choices so he'd stand out some.

[*shifty eyes* I can do this.]
Weird. The word came to her like an unknown intruder into her mind. For what reason at all would Caleb use that word to describe women? Especially in plural, as if her referred more than one, someone besides herself. Was he referring to his sister? Did she have a silent adoration for the girl that the saint basically praised without her knowing? That would be the only fitting reason that came to the goddess' head, the only head that would match the shape of the last piece of the puzzle. Like herself, Evita, the brilliant sister of the light of her eyes, had a quiet admiration for the stunning woman without even talking to each other. The idea caused the vampire woman to shake her head, causing the luscious drippings of crimson to tumble around with her hasty movement while a smile gracefully decorated her stained lips. Before Lilly could reply to his own response of her remark, the subject had been successfully changed, captivating the woman's full. small-spanned attention. "Aren't we always the center of attention?" The goddess of a woman's lips contorted into a small twist denoting a smirk before her digits wrapped around his warm and alluring hand, agreeing wordlessly to said invitation. Chiming a giggle before walking along with her favorite person in the world, the content of her heart, Lilly then proceeded to be reeled into the arrival of her guests, her icy blues falling on familiar people like Phoenix, who had greeted the lucid couple. "Hello Phoenix. How are you?" She offered a smile, regarding that she hadn't completely forgotten about her and her existence. "Where's Llyan? And Neo?"
Darien smiled at Evita's extremely quiet greeting that he, somehow, had still managed to hear. His blue eyes then fell across her cheekbones, watching as the blush began to settle but disappeared altogether followed by the familiar twirl of her hair and twist of her body in a very adorable mannerism. These little things the guardian dressed as the Beast took into notice had become his favorite to observe, causing several of his most profound of smiles. The compliment, however, caught him very off guard. It was the first time the dressed prince had heard her speak with such words. Normally everything would be narrated in her eyes or facial emotions, but tonight, she had actually worded the thoughts that so had Darien at his toes to find out. With a tint of blood pooling over his cheeks, the blond haired angel gave a light nod of his head. "I still don't beat the most beautiful girl here standing in front of me." The words had come out charmingly spoken, as if a lover shyly spoke to his newly found heart with its breath taken away.
An automatic olive tint hinted through Lucian's cheek as Morgan complimented him again, successfully embarrassing him once more. That was all his boyfriend was good at, embarrassing him in the moments he didn't needed but didn't mind either, between other things that scored higher on his list. Tucking his hands in his pocket, the boy scanned the other vampire as he swiped his tongue across the contours of his lips--a sign that perhaps Lucian should lay low with the hotness scale before they burst into doing things that weren't quite approved in public view. "Don't give me all the credit..." the boy spoke a little nervously, trying to breathe in and breathe out out of habit to sooth some of his empathic courses that streamed constantly into his own emotions, sometimes even causing him to have a breakdown. With time and Morgan's help, however, he had manage to control a great deal of it, very grateful for having the dark haired vampire as his winning prize.

[oh my gosh, xD I'm super sorry. I totally forgot to write in a reply to Phoenix. I read it and everything. >_> terrible]
Lilly's simple response drew out Caleb's broader, charming white smile. Most often, it was these simplistic responses that got the boy thinking in all the wrong directions. The majority of the time it the simpler she spoke that got him thinking of countless meanings to inject into the words, puffing them up into something they were never intended to be. The more he saw into them, the more of their notorious, historical moments were withdrawn from the depths of his memory to be relived in the seconds of that sentence. Granted, the everlasting couple was the center of attention in many magazines which were counting down to their disaster, or recording their intimate moments and exposing them to harsh public scrutiny. But, he chose to recall from her short words simpler occasions, such as a dark beach, low key parties. Indulging himself in wayward thoughts, his figure swayed closer to the object of his affection, drawn to her like the lost to the North Star. Still clasping her hand, he moved his arm over her head to the other side, drawing her arm across her body, bringing his other hand to her elbow and surrounding her from behind. Caught between excitement and her cooler skin, Caleb gave a tiny shudder but lingered behind his angel as Phoenix approached and spoke to them. His eyes wandered from the red sea underneath him to Phoenix as she spoke to him. They changed from a shade of glassy blue to a rich brightness. "Thank you." He replied, the lopsided grin lightening his speech. His relationship with Phoenix was severely distant but he regarded his manners and remembered well enough that they were actually related. "Delta's doing good. We stole a bit of a break for recording since the last album's been out a bit and technically toured into the ground." He gave a small shrug and was about to indulge her with more news of the high flying band but, Lilly had tailored his pride and hemmed him in. He took a breath and sighed as Lilly carried the couples image by remembering their manners and asking about Phoenix's family. Caleb shifted behind Lilly, unintentionally swaying her between his arms out of a slight impatience derived from his avidity for the night.
The painted lips of the shy girl twisted into a quick grin, equivalent to someone's laugh. As fast as the grin had came, she'd turned her chin to her right shoulder, crossed right hand to her left elbow and turned to the right. She gave her head several small, quick shakes. Her mother would have said something simple, "yeah right, shut up." but Evita's gentle heart could not allow the words to form in her mind. Instead, she drew a breath and upon releasing it gave her head a bigger, slower shake no. She could feel the heat radiating off her rosey cheeks catch under the mask, just touching the top of her cheek bones, and curl back to her making the matter relevant and embarrassing to her. "Darien," The jade eyes turned back to him, dazzling from inside their sequined cage. "You haven't even seen all the guests yet." She was trying to imply he couldn't possibly know she was the most beautiful girl her, simply denying the fact as an honor far to much.

Phoenix smiled waned a little at the mention of her beloved. He had promised not to be late for Lilly's party yet still she was alone. to make apologies to there host. " Llyan will be here shortly, he regrets it,and hopes you both will forgive him" Phoenix smiled as her thoughts turned to her son.
Neo was unreliable at the best of times. No one could tell if he would appear or not. "Neo is..."She began read to excuse the other male when she felt an icy wind. Neo had appeared there as if by magic. " Im here" He grinned with a mock bow towards Lilly. The weather demon's theme for the night was inspired by his love of weather. He wore a white tailored suit complete with white gloves. His hair was spiked back and dyed white.. He was of course of the winter sprite Jack Frost himself."Im not late am i?" He asked it being rhetoical of cource as he studied Caleb.
"I'm glad Delta's doing so well I heared though you had some tech problems whilst on tour" He smirked referring of course to when he'd sabtoeged the lights at one of Delta's shows and had gotten away with it. "Lilly you are looking wondeful and out shinning all your guests of cource " Aiming more to get a reaction from Caleb than Lilly, he took Lilly's hand in courtly fashion and kissed it with frosty lips his eyes on Lilly the whole time.
"I give you all the credit Love" Morgan ignored the blush He was used to it and knew mostly when to stop now. and right now he wasnt quite read to "but then I have a hot boy friend and from what he tells me"He lent against the wall, wanting to touch Lucian , hold him, feel him close but Judging by the others actions he was willing to wait a while for that, willing to bet he would get what he wanted by the end of the night" He has a cute boyfriend too. I think we are both very lucky, and if you want we can ditch this party and just be together you and I"

[sorry it took me so long to actually get to this]
The sweeping warmth overwhelming along the slender contours of Lilly's arms was her own little joyful relief. Feeling her saint embrace her in such a mannerism just to parade themselves around like the couple of lovebirds they were was always the sight she allured to make on people, the impression of her happiness blatantly expressed to whoever was around to experience it. Caleb's little silent agreement rose one of her more lovingly smiles, the only dazzling smiles she could portray that stemmed from the depths of her feltered emotions. Her flawless countenance puckered lightly into curious but stressed showings, icy blues traveling higher than her head to catch a glimpse of what had been troubling her adoration. The sudden sway had been a swarm of enjoyment to her, walking as if they were penguins attached together but the stunning woman knew by the way his movement kept striding without a consent of her lack of long legs like his, that something was displeasing to him, causing her blues to fall on Phoenix who had just courteously apologized on behalf of her husband for being late... as usual, Lilly thought to herself. Time traveling back to those days in her childhood when she used to wait for Llyan to arrive to school so they could walk to class together, she clearly remembered his issues with being on time. With a self-satisfied smile, the icy blues reeled in back to the new voice that interjected into the further conversation the couple and the woman were having. "Neo." The goddess whispered. Neo had been successfully the other male that could take her tone to such an air as to whisper in his presence, but not in the way that sparked some sort of gut wrenching flutter. Only Caleb could do that in impossibly ways no one ever thought existed. To furthermore cover her voice from vocalizing, Neo had acted like a cavalier and brought himself to kiss the Red Queen's hand along with fitting compliments she knew would boil her saint's turmoil even if just the smallest, however out of jealousy it wasn't. Sweeping icy blues brought back to scrutinize the blond rock star's countenance while her own partook in a beautifully pale rosy glow. "Oh. I... uh..." the queen stuttered, the words not formulating correctly in her tongue. "My guests are always as equally as beautiful as everyone, don't be silly." A light sway of her wrist and a dismissive hand movement was all it took to project the perfect plan. The hand fluttered gracefully through the air and lightly landed on Caleb's, perhaps trying to fight some rational thinking into him before anything would get out of hand, subconsciously soothing the unintentionally perked surfaces that Neo might have raised between the two men.
"Late... as usual." The stressed hiss had come from farther away from the couple, but still managed to voice it's way into the party. His outfit, beautifully picked and tailored by his daughter Lenix, had been fitting to his appearance. His outfit had been blended in with fabrics of silk and some velvets here and there to create a noble but sort of Victorian effect with Gothic denotes to assemble old story vampires. His make up had been naturally fitting as well, Lenix would only create and fit the best for her family and loved ones. No other work came under done or under dressed. Picking up into a sprint, the demon dressed as a Victorian vampire finally reached his destination next to his wife and one of her sons; his old childhood friend and her fitting love of her life. "Sorry I'm late..." Llyan apologize, taking a slight bow to the couple, giving a quick glance to Neo and finally perching his silver eyes on Phoenix. "Lenix got to me." He whispered while his alabaster finger pointed around his outfit.
"I don't really need to, do I?" Darien spoke lightly and only to his beloved princess as if quietly pointing out the fact how they were just really meant to each other and no eyes could captivate him anymore than she, his favorite girl, had. Darien was her prince, her guardian angel and her everything whenever she needed it. He'd never leave her side and never leave her alone or unprotected plus he always tried to keep her happy and with a beautiful sparkling smile over her precious lips. Darien valued Evita so much, it pained him to even think about being away from her. "Evita..." the guardian spoke, his light blues making a sincere effect while a couple of his blond strands dripped along and accentuated part of his face. "You can only dazzle me." The words were sort of corny, but only spoken through a certain voice did they have some sort of meaning with the lack of comical effect and the angel knew how to create it, having that voice that certain girls allured to hear.
Lucian had been studying the nice effect his exposed chest had whenever he moved towards him or even thought about anything. The reds fell back in place with a hover, dazed expression, the words Morgan spoke bringing more unreadable flusters to his expressions and serious features. The planes contorted to something different, something more questioning at his boyfriend's last sentence. "And do what?" He asked a little nervously at the thought, picking up the new essence Morgan's aura exerted.

Caleb's beaming face diminished. His smile collapsed to relaxed lips while his eyes still held their gleam. Neo's remark about his band and their mishap hadn't killed his spirit - Neo had. He wasn't welcomed in Caleb's air, ear sight or eye sight for obvious reasons linked to that night. His eyes burned into Neo's skin as he moved to Lilly, kissing her hand. Irritated, Caleb's grip on Lilly turned to a squeeze while his thoughts entertained the idea of blowing Neo up. For once he envied his estranged brother's overwhelming abilities, especially the one where he could implode the brain. That would come in handy right now. His attention came back in a chilling sensation, a feathery touch on his hand. He realized his grip on her had become something of a full body strangulation and suddenly relaxed his arms, dropping his shoulders. He gnawed at his bottom lip, uncomfortable in Neo's presense but unable to act upon his urges due to presence of Lilly. She was his calming force and a voice of reason. He knew she had layed her decree. Neo was here and she had, in her way, told him 'no'. He had nothing left but to brood and linger behind her, shooting quiet daggers at Neo. After seconds, this proved unsatisfactory and he began to give Lilly a backwards tug, he wanted them to be on the other side of the party and at all points of the night as far from Neo as her yard allowed.
Evita looked up at Darien, staring intently as he said her name. She hung on his words like he weaved a certain magic, a hypnotic spell. It was innocent. She only knew it was polite to listen and listening to Darien fascinated her, whatever he said was perfet. She hadn't imagined the puppy dog look that her bright, big greens gave her. Yet, to the public eye, pathetic was not a word they could label her with when she hung to his words. Her mother's features saved her, giving her a striking appearance, even in her most naive states. A quiet, one breath laugh escaped Evita, the kind of simple thing someone makes to a compliment but from Evita, it was something outstanding. She tucked her hair behind her ear and stole a glance down. "Thank you." She said quietly. Her eyes were drifting around the room, a sign of discomfort. Their conversation dropped and she wanted to do something but she didn't know what. She came with Caleb and had no need to fish for him, she wasn't hungry, for the most part she'd seen the decorations and the only thing left was perhaps a dance.

Neo's gaze lingered on Lilly for but a moment longer than it was needed "Of course The King and Queen of the Ball should outshine the rest of us" He retreated to Phoenix's side once more. Caleb's look was a warning one and Ne took it well. Both males despised each other yet adored the Goddess. It was an uneasy meeting Maybe it had been a bad idea to come but then he'd been left with little choice in the Matter. But hed be good there would be no scene this time, not by him anyway. Smiling as Llyan blustered in. It was a thank ful interruption "I think Sis did a great Job Dad". Neo complemented falling easy into the role of Son even if it was the first time hed called LLyan father or Lenix sister.
Phoenix looked first at Neo.Her look quiering the simple tag of father. It was new and unlike her son to claim any family ties. She shrugged and gave her full attention to her beloved. "Lenix is a perfectionist" She marvelled at his out fit "And has made a perfect outfit for you." Phoenix praised her daughters work
Morgan smiled at Lucian innonece "Well I was thinking" He began choosing each word carefully "We havent had much alone time lately" He offered a soft puppy look having planned this from the moment he'd heard about the party.Everytime the couple tried to gain some alone time it was interrupted by one thing and another. "Everyones busy so we can easily sneak of if you wanted to. Im sure there a room nearby not being used for anything Love" He paused just long enough for effect before adding his final touch that was sure to getting Lucien to aggree. "You do want it right? Otherwise we can hang here and just get bored"
