Damon was ill. That in itself was nothing new the boy was always getting sick with one thing or another.He had been a sickly child since birth. He had had a fever since waking as well as a sickly stomach.During the day he'd gotten worse and now was in the sick bay being cared for by the docters. Hew was unconcious and being cared for by machines mointering his heart and lungs.
(Not sure whats made him sick yet)
Bisa watched him with fear in her eyes and her heart. She had sent a servant running to tell Hawk the News. She knew he might not come at Once or even at all but it was important that he knew straight away. Hawk she knew was training today with both girls. So no doubt Isabelle would be told as well as Riley. Bisa could do nothing more but sit next to her sons bedside and wait. Wait for Hawk to come, wait for Damon to be welll again.

Right left, then right again, he dodged the fast coming fists coming from Isabelle. Each time he moved in one direction she seemed to be right their waiting for him. She truly was by far the best at hand to hand combat, something he was experiencing with himself. And his daughter Riley took after her mother, weapons were her forte. Jabbed in the face, pain screaming down his right jaw, he held up his hand to call a time out.
Isabelle moved from place to place, as if to wired to stay in one spot. "Come on uncle Hawk. I'm just getting started!"
A short abrupt laugh came from his throat, but he shook his head, going to the side, a fresh towl layed out for him. "I need a break. Ask you Uncle Mikal to spar with you."
A pout formed on her face. "But he's training with Riley! See." She pointed to where both Riley and mikal were totall concentrated on the weapons in their hands. "Besides, he's no fun to spar with. He likes weapons and keeps trying to get me to practice with them." She stuck out her tongue in disgust and made a face, causing a more natural laugh to come from Hawks belly. He never seemed to do that anymore. Laugh with everything he had. For years he and Bisa have been at odds, her not being able to make the promise he needed to continue their relationship. And of course he'd ask her. It became like a ritual, her giving him a sad smile, and him walking away to lick his wounds. Sighing he wiped the sweat from his face, but his ears almost twtiched at the fast pace of feet coming to their training room, and he knew exactly who it was. Bambi burst through the door, a look of pure fright on her face. "Hawk! Come quick, is Daimon." Was all he needed to be taken off down the hall and to Daimons room, Isabelle right on his heels. The two came to a stop at the door, Hawk afraid to even enter stood their undecided. Isabelle, rolling her eyes burst through the door and ran strait to the other side of Daimons bed. Worry clear on the young girls face for her small cousin. "Daimon! What is it? What's wrong?" She said to Bisa.
Hawk came in slower, eyes filled with his pain as he stared at his pale motionless son. He went to kneel by Bisa, taking the boys small hand in his much larger one. "What happened?"

Bisa took her gaze from her son to his vistors. "It started with a simple fever" her voice was quiet and on the edge of breaking "He has been getting one of his colds"Her gaze was on Hawk as she attempted to explain to the both of them "It was a simple cold, then he was sick and just collapsed" Her voice was at a breaking point.If she carried on with her speech her voice would break and tears mark her face."I sent for you Hawk the Moment he was brought in here.. Did someone tell Riley?" All Bisa wanted right now was Hawks touch , His comfit things that were lost to her five years ago. And ever day she still craved his touch his kindness his love. Up till now though she'd simply been to stubborn to ask for them back
Riley had heard the news. It took her a minute to disarm Mikel before following her cousan's foot steps. She wouldnt enter her brother's sick room. Instead s he paused in the doorway watching the scene unfold within.

He couldn't help it. The love he had for this woman was still much to strong for him not to be detatched. A hand of comfort was placed on her shoulder as he lightly squeezed. Isabelle, on the other hand, heard everything but had eyes only for the small cousin, who looked weaker and paler than usual, in this huge enourmous bed. She didn't cry, that was weakness, something she never showed. But their was a telltale sign of eyes softening, mouth relaxing, and pain crossing her face. Sweat was pouring from her forehead, black hair plastered to her face as she stared down at him. "He'll be ok. Won't be aunt Bisa?"

Bisa looked up at Hawk.She wanted to offer hope to both of them, yet the despair was evident in her eyes. Too often she had nursed her sick son and now he was deathly ill. "Im ... Im sure he will be"She whispered trying to draw strength from her own words.
"How is he" Romany asked bringing with her a bag. Riley had gone running for her the moment she had realised how sick Damon was.
"The Cold...It got worse" Bisa began to explain as Romany took Damons tempreature checking for fever.
"Hawk maybe you should take Bisa for some air, Isabelle and I can nurse Damon for a while. He has no fever so he will be alright for a while"She suggested softly expecting him to deny her request"I promise to send Isabelle if there are any changes in his condition"

He didn't even try and wiggle his way out of it. He knew Romany was a force to be reckoned with, and he also saw the look of pure terror on his wife's face. Gently taking her by the elbow, he lead her outside, passing his daughter in the process, he let his hand rest on her head for a moment before Bisa and Hawk walked from sight. The outside air was cool and crisp as the wind blew itself dishevliing his hair even more. Running his hands over his face, he gave Bisa a look as they stood their a foot between them. "He'll be ok Bisa. We won't lose him."

Isabelle watched them leave, as she did her eyes snagged on Riley, instantly her gaze turned dark. She knew of the feelings the girl had for her cousin, and didn't act like a true sister. instead, that was Isabelle's job, to take care and watch over Damon. Belle sent Riley a furious look before turning back to Romany. "What are we going to do?"
A look of determination crawled over her face, she would see her little cousin healthy and playing in no time. That she promised herself and him. Another silent promise crossed her mind. She would never let Riley or anyone else hurt him, she would watch over him. Always.

"I should stay...." Her protest was feeble as Hawk lead her out of the sick room and down the hallway.The cool air was a shock to her system, producing a shiver from her. Bisa looked up at Hawk, with a soft look of disaper on her face."I hope you're right Hawk" her voice was a slight hoarse whisper as she turned from him. Anything that reminded her of her fearful pregancy "When I carried him, in the early days I almost lost him then...."She whispoered wrapping her arms around herself, in a small effort to comfort herself. "It was before our fight"She added quickly fearing his anger.

Romany watched all that was around her as she placed a medal around the boy's neck, "We need to discover what made him ill before we can make him well Isabelle" She spoke softly before whispering a healers prayer. Damons symptoms reminded her of Bisa after his birth. "Has he eaten anything new, been troubled by anything other than his cold"
"No"Riley answered softly by the doorway "At least I dont think so. Isabelle has he said anything to you?"She asked. In this she would give her cousan her dues. Isabelle knew Damon better than she did. It was from her own misguided feelings towards the young boy

That old familiar pain that always came at the mention of his wife's lie. "Yea I know Bisa." She had kept the almost miscarriage, as well as the fact that she was pregnant from him. Five years ago, their son had survvied. Five years later neither were able to repair the damage that it had inflicted upon their relationship. seperate rooms, sepreate lives. Only coming together when it came to their family. "Do you ever wonder what would have happened if you would have just told me?" Then he realized how that sounded. Like he was still blaming her, still hadn't forgiven her. When actually he had, he didn't care anymore. Years ago he had gotten past it. But he would never come back unless she promised to never lie to him again, something she knew.

Isabelle was shocked that Riley even answere Romany's question, thinking the girl didn't even pay attention to her brother enough to know. "She's right. He hasn't." Voice soft and thoughtful, eyes narrowed on her cousin, turning back to Damon, his hand still in hers, she put all her attention back on him. "How do we find out whats wrong with him?"

Bisa nodded.She often thought about her pregancy, and how she'd often wished she'd told Hawk instead of keeping it from him, until it had been too late. "Yes Hawk," She sighed keeping her gaze lowered. It did sound like he still blamed her, but then she blamed herself too " If things had been different , we would still have our fairy tale" She murmered forcing herself to look up at him. Her words unfinished the ending of her sentence unsaid,~Instead of this...nightmare~.

Romany had no answer for either girl. When Bisa had been ill She had fed her blood until her body had gained strength. Would a similar method work on the unconous boy? "We will try to wake him first"She decided "With blood.." She began
"you can try with mine if you like" Riley whispered. This was not her domain. The protective big sister that was Isabelle not her. Shed given it up before he was even born
"No for the first test we will use my own" Using nothing bigger than a needle Romany pricked her finger causing a beed of blood to emerge. Lightly she spread it across the boys lips and waited. Hers was a strong blood steming from her sire Sebastion and who knew how strong his line was~Wake up little one please~
It took minutes to work and only produced a small barely noticed reaction. Damon's eyes began to flicker ~Isa...~ A hoarse whisper flittered in her mind. It was faint bairly possible to hear but it was there to be heared if Isabelle was listening for it.

He sighed at the sound of her voice. It's softness, and sweetness. How he wished things were still the way they were, instead of this. This coldness between them that just wouldn't go away. He would ask. Once more to see if she would promise to never keep something from him again. It was her last chance. If she still said no, then he couldn't stay here any longer. He'd get his own place, away from this house, but still come see his children. He couldn't live like this any more.
"Bisa, I asked you to promise me something. To never lie to me again. Are you ready to make that promise?"

Isabelle couldn't help the light growl that imitted from her throat at the offer Riley made. Using her blood? Isabelle would rather die. But she was pcified when Romany told her she'd use hers. When putting her finger to her little cousins mouth, all her concentration and attention was on his small figure. And yes, she heard it. The soft sigh of her name coming from his mind. Tears, something that has never happened before, sprang to her eyes at his voice, even if it was just mentally. "I'm here Damon! I won't leave you." Gripping his hand in hers, she peered closer at her cousin, willing his eyes to open, if only for a moment.

Bisa was stunned at the question. It was a question that needed no thought, It was a question that gave her a second chance at happiness. She wanted to reach up at grasp it with both hands but a soft doubt niggled at her Why was he asking now? When all the other times he'd been denied the answer he needed. Nothing had changed between them.
Quieting the doubts in her head Bisa knew she was ready to take the risk.
Her lips wouldnt form the word she needed so a simple head nod would have to do, She nodded her aggreement. Yes she was ready, but would he see that.

Watching the reactions of the three in her care Romany smiled. She would have to treat Isabelle with care as well as Damon. Giving Riley a list of things she would need she sent the girl on her errands.
The gypsy knew how to make her patient better. Gargoyle Blood but it would bring with it nausea and sickness. Isabelle would be the perfect candidate for the donor of the blood knowing as she did the girl carried both Sebastions and Kais blood in her. But if Damon was sick would Isa feel guilty over the fact her blood had made him ill.
Whilst she thought on the matter she silentally offered Isa a tissue making no mention of the girl tears.
As each damp tear fell on Damon's face.It produced a small reaction a flicker of hope "Would you let him drink a little of your blood Isa,,,I must warn you, the Gargoyle strain may make him nauseous when...he awakes" Romany asked deciding in a split reaction to take the risk after all.
