Karuma's shoulders moved in a small shrug. He felt like he had all he could get but, he had been told that was never a reason to quit. His fingers had gone back to his earrings, slowly turning them and moving along the small, chilled, silver hoops. His eyes were fixed on the curtains of the windows, a gentle squint hinting to the thoughts in his head. "You know what time it is?" He asked unable to tell through the slit in the curtains. "I have to get, uhm, somewhere... before it's later." He commented. He had no somewhere and certainly no later but, not knowing the town, the last place he wanted to be was outside in the dark. Despite his immortality and even his bloodline, he hated the outside world in the dark. He hated even the slim percentage of chance that one lone little blood sucker would decide he was a treat. Even if being inside halted his search for the 'threat', he didn't care.
