[remember kids, it's for shits and giggles and not an rp to take seriously. no plots, just pure fun. whatever happens, happens.]
It was a bright day. A beautiful, sparkling white sheets had covered the immense field that would hold the Christmas Party for Nocturne Sanctuary's holiday. A party to remember.
Out of a random crate in the middle of nowhere had popped a red-headed girl. Her crimson hair swayed flawlessly down her back and cascaded down her shoulders with side-swept bangs dripping unto her icy blue eyes. "Christmas time!" She announced in a chiming, sing-song voice, stressing each word lowly but cheery. Red and green garlands and gossamer along with a motley of Christmas decorations had popped out of the box as well, flying around her and plowing themselves on the snow. As she got out of the box, she found herself being plowed into the snow as well by an elongated, muscular man with black roots and blue spikes for hair. His brilliant, bright lavender eyes swept the icy blue ones with a broadening, impish little smile.
"HEY LIL!" Was the over-stressed and merry greeting the boy hollered.
"Lee... what did I tell you about tackling?" Lilly had responded in a wry tone, pushing him aside and getting up to dust her Christmas outfit which was a red, silk skirt with white, fluffy trimmings and a black, studded belt around her hips; a red top with white trimmings as well but not as overly exaggerated as the other one. It was quite the fit. Black and white snow boots embraced her slender legs and the usual heart-shaped gem hung from her necklace.
"What's Christmas without a little rule-breaking fun?" Patting her shoulder, Leroy twirled around in his interval, searching for something he clearly wasn't finding. "Where's the other love bird? Usually, when there's a you, there's a Caleb."
"Ha ha ha." The chiming laughter, despite the silvery, flowing tone, was also wry. "But actually, I don't know. He might be here somewhere..." she said, lumbering through the thick snow towards a giant pine tree which would be the christmas tree. "In fact, where are the others?"
"Probably lost in the snow." Lethery grumbled, rummaging through a box.

[obviously, I must use Caleb but it was a tough call for my second character xD]
"Giddy up, jingle horse." The laughing taunt was an irritant to the man's company. He pulled the black leather around his frame and gave his jeans a tug although they were to tight to budge. He turned his back to the direction he had been walking and flopped down onto the small sled causing a heavy crunch in the snow as his weight pushed it down. He shifted around, catching the guitar case and the container of hot chocolate that had been sitting on the sleigh. "There's not enough room." He muttered settling the guitar case on his lap and trying to pull the heavy black battle boots off the snow. His head whipped to the right and he peered over his shoulder between a cascading wall of black hair and up at his company pulling the sled. "Well... pick up your fuckin' feet and jingle somewhere!" A grin pulled quick across his lips causing the lip ring to glint in the light.
The recipiant of the brusque comments turned to look over his shoulder. His eyelashes had narrowed around his eyes leaving them in thin blue slits. Red and green streaks of hair were poking past blonde, threatening his view but had been cropped just out of the way. "That's not how the song goes, fat-ass." He grumbled through his teeth. He gave the string of the sled a yank, hearing only a heavy crunch. "GUH." The resistance of the sled to budge had caused him to slip but surprisingly not fall. "Keel you." He whispered the words and turned around. His tall frame gave a shudder and the string fell from his fingers as they flew towards his neck where a ball of snow had exploded "What the heck!" The white crystals were falling down the neck of his jacket, melting between his shirt and skin creating an unpleasant feeling for the freezing, island born saint. "Tyler, you're so stupid!" He spat flinging the snow from the white jacket but it was hiding in the creases of buckles and pockets creating a hopeless effort. "You're the one that called me a fat-ass. I thought I was on enough drugs to be a skeleton!" He laughed, everything was funny to him today which made the saint slightly irritable. He figured Tyler was already drunk. He took hard to eggnog for breakfast. "Shut up, get off." For once his height gave him a pleasant advantage and he reached a snowy boot over the sled and kicked Tyler in the back, tumbling him into the snow. He bent to pick up the string again and with out hesitation kept walking, tugging his goods behind him, looking like a giant two year old toating his toys. His eyes moved back down to snow infront of him, following a graceful trail towards the field. A small hum left his lips as he watched the snow. The temperature bothered him but the sight was enough to over ride it. The pure, sparkling, innocent sheets of white was irresistable and lulled him into a heightened calm that was somehow also excited. His eyes moved up the trail he was following until he spotted a whirl of red against white. "Score." He mumbled. He would know that form in any color, anywhere. He glanced over his shoulder to see where his dark charge was but was surprised to not see him. "Dear God." He whispered, the worst thoughts crawling through his mind like a burst nest of spiders. He gave his shoulders a roll and looked back towards his prised posession trudging merrily through the snow. The thoughts of her created a far better sensation. Having found a glimpse of hope after spending the morning in Tyler's dismal torment, Caleb picked up his feet (afterall!) and moved towards the center of their party ground.

Phoenix had arrived at the party. She wished she was here with Llyan as she didnt know Lily more than just a casual friend, but it would have been impoilete to refuse. She was armed with wine and a small presant and she wore a dress of green silk that flowed to her ankles paired with a pair of white boots A holly flower gracing her silver hair, tucked above her ear perfected her outfit "Lily?"She called softly standing on the edge of the small scene where she glimsped the scene between brother and sister.
A smile graced her soft lips as a stray snowball hit Leroy square in the head. "I guess Im not the first to arrive then..."She began unable to hide her amusement at Leros Misfortune. Morgan grinned to himself softly. He wasnt staying, infact the snowball had been a randoom impulse born from bordom and trying not to get in serious trouble anway. It was timeto make himself unseen and not there.
The assilant was unseen as of yet at least down below. Neo was watching the little part unfurl. He spotted the unfamilar glimsp of his younger half-brother. Neo had stopped by to check all was in place for a winter party. Spotting his Mother though he melted into the shadows. This Party was too crowded for the both of them there.

Curling a purple orb into her hands, the crimson-haired goddess hovered it over the pine tree, hooking it in place on one of the tree branches. Her icy blues swept beyond the tree to look for the box but her view was beautifully interrupted by a tall saint in the Christmas spirit hauling a sled in his arms towards the life of the party. A smile planted on her tainted, rosy lips but the love-struck haze was cut short by another voice captivating her attention. Turning around, letting her sea of red sway nestle neatly on her right shoulder, she gazed upon a silvery woman wearing flowing, green silk. At first, it took the vampire goddess a moment to really recognize who she was, recalling a small encounter on accident. A porcelain, slender finger perched on her lower lip, trying to get the thought straight in her tongue. Yes, yes. Llyan's wife. Her combed, black lashes batted upwards while her icy blues squinted behind her now close eyelids with a broadening, warm smile. "Phoenix." The girl waved her slender hand, watching how the presence of a snowball now impacted her younger brother, causing her to give a chiming giggle to herself. "Where's Llyan?" She asked, tilting her head but it wasn't long until her question was answered. Not far away from their peripheral, assembling from the coating, sparkling white had been walking a man with gray skin tone, slick-black hair and metallic-silver eyes. Wearing a button-up white shirt, green-stud belt and maroon, almost black jeans came trolling in with a girl that stood up to his shoulders. The bright young girl had an ivory skin tone, silver hair which was tucked in a pony tail to her side, letting it swirl down to her chest. She was wearing a lovely green velvety halter top that was covered by an over-sized, white, furry coat. A red skirt with tablets decorated her hips down to her thighs and esquimo, furry white boots warmed her legs up to her knees. "Oh, there he is." Lilly pointed out joyfully, not knowing the girl was Lenix, Phoenix and Llyan's daughter, sister to Morgan.
"Hey, babe." Llyan welcomed, kissing Phoenix's temple. Lenix, on the other hand, contemplated Lilly and the bright shades of red she wore. "It's not polite to stare, Lenix." Llyan had told her quietly, spying Morgan nearby. Before walking towards his son, he gave Lilly, his long-term friend since kindergarten an overwhelming hug. "Hey Lils."
"Hey, Llyan! Long time, no see." She rung in her melodic voice, poking his chest before he walked away with a nod towards the trouble-causing teenager and ruffled his hair. "Hey champ!"
Awkwardly turning back towards where she'd seen her saint, Lilly paused a green orb in mid-air and sashayed through the white sheets of sparkling delight towards her adoration, her saint. "Heyy..." she beamed quietly until her eyes fell upon the string he was holding. "Need help?"
Leroy, who was rummaging in a crate trying to find some adornments for the Nocturne Sanctuary's special Christmas tree that everyone got to decorate with their own antics, shook his head frantically when the snowball hit him. Expecting it to be his sister, Leroy turned around to watch her instead flirting with her saint. "I knew there had to be a Caleb around." He grumbled, squinting his lavender eyes around to check who had thrown the snowball but the culprit wasn't really registering in his head.

Caleb's features changed from mild boredom to barely contained joy while his girlfriend approached. The simple but warm greeting pulled out the grin on his face. "Hey, beautiful." He replied. His head was somewhere on cloud nine making his greeting a little distant at first. His eyes dropped to the rope in his hand and he shrugged. "Naaah. Merriment and warmth don't weigh that much." He replied, reffering to his party additions of hot chocolate and his guitar. He shifted the rope into one hand and slid the other around Lilly's form inching her to his side to retrace her steps back towards the party. "Looks like a nice turn out." He commented. His focus had strayed from the original crowd towards the outskirts of the party for a sign of Tyler while almost praying he had sunken in a snow drift. He wasn't going to mention Tyler to his girlfriend until he absolutely had to.
Tyler was crouched behind one of the pine trees with a third of a snow ball in his hand. "Ow, ow, shit." He pressed his left hand to his head and rocked on his heels. "Nnnn." He bit his lip ring and focused on remaking his snow ball. "Stupid brainfreeze." He murmured. He started to repack the snow in his hand and leaned forward, peering around the outskirts of the tree looking for his next victum. He'd gotten Caleb and someone else by mistake - a mistake he wasn't sorry for. "Hmmhmmhmm, let it snow, let it snow, let it..." A grin crossed his face and he wound his right arm up and launched a snow ball into the air like a bomb. "Snow." He murmured wondering who he could hit.

Neo was watching the bemused drunken form that was Tyler. He was never one for games but seeing him under the tree he couldnt resist. With a flick of his wrist a flurry of snow seemed to exit itself of the branches and rain on Tyler. "Much more satisfing"He smirked to himself creating a snowball in his hand he threw it at Leroy figuring the other would get the blame.
Phoenix smiled ready to point out her husbans before Lilly had spotted him. She greeted his approaching with a smile. "Hey... Wheres Morgan?"She asked softly not even having chance to remind her youngest daughter of her Manners.. It seemed Llan had both children in hand as she watched him, her gaze leading her to her son Morgan. "mm theres your brother Lenix guess you convinced him to come after all?"She asked Lenix with a smile.
Morgan was dusting down his hands wanting to get rid of an suspected evidence he'd thrown any snowballs despite only minutes earlier having thrown a second at Leroy. He wasnt dressed for the party wearing a white shirt and black Jeans. "Hey Dad!" He grinned trying to dodge having his hair ruffled to little success "im kinda too old for you to ruffle my hair you know?" He grinned in weak protest.

About to make a failed attempt to tease her saint, Lilly was drawn next to Caleb by a simple pull of his slender, elongated hand. Her lips slowly thinned into a bright smile, walking along the blond saint back towards the life of the party where she had left the pine tree she was decorating. "Oh." She gasped lowly, turning her head and lifting it to look at her adoration, making her red locks sweep off her porcelain complex. "Did you also bring some decorations so you could donate a little bit of you to the Christmas spirit?" Her hand swept from her side quickly darting in front of her and pressing gently against Caleb's chest. When the red-haired goddess caught him squinting into the distance as if in search for something, her icy blues quickly shifted towards their outskirts to see if she could see something he wasn't seeing. The observation also failed as they approached a wooden table stretched out enough for the people expected to show up. Detaching herself for just a second, Lilly reached out for the box she had randomly popped up from and flipped it over causing the contents from last year's small and unknown party to sprawl on the table.
Leroy had seemed the target at first, but from people he didn't know. Luckily, with his sensory reflexes, he dodged the other incoming two that were from both Neo and Morgan towards him. Merrily, he continued to rummage through the crate finding one of the ropes for the tree he had made last year. Walking over towards the tree, he rocked his feet into the snow causing him to stop behind Caleb and Lilly. "Sup?" He greeted briefly to Caleb, approaching Lilly and bumping her on the hip. "Someone's staring." He whispered, walking back towards the tree.
Furrowing her eyebrows in curiosity, Lilly twirled around gracefully causing her Christmas outfit to whirl with her as her eyes fell upon Lenix, obviously the someone who was staring. Offering a warm little smile, Lilly turned back over.
A faint color of pink slowly intruded Lenix's cheeks as the girl she was staring at had turned to look at her. Her red eyes darted away quickly, shifting awkwardly in the snow as she turned to her mother who'd she forgotten had asked her something. "Huh? Oh yeah..." her voice, although a little distant and hazed out still held the lovely little alto tone of her mother's. "I guess."
"Yes, but you're never too small to ruffle your hair!" Llyan teased about Morgan's height, tangling his fingers around Morgan's hair. "I'll stop bothering you, though, if you like but your mother over there..." his finger quickly pointed into the distance, his head tilting causing ebony locks to twirl around his eyes, shielding them faintly, "needs her portion of kid love. Be a sport and give her a hug, hm?" He chuckled.

Caleb's head was inclined to the left and away from his girlfriend while he directed his eyes from tree to tree looking for his lost charge. His tounge moved behind his teeth, flattening out a wad of gum across itself to blow a bubble. The cool, gentle touch on his chest caused him to turn his head back and glance down at his adorable red bundle while having the bubble half blown. He raised his eyebrows to ask a good tempered, what, and pulled the bubble back in his mouth to muffle the sound. "Ah." The saint's nodd caused his blonde hair to move in a momentary seige of his eyes which were cast to the snow covered ground so it didn't bother him. He chewed his gum for a second and then the slender shoulders moved in a shrug. "It's a secret." He whispered casting a slanted smile her way. That was always the stars slick way to avoid an answer when he had something special planned for his sweetheart. Caleb left their conversation on that note and hauled his sled beside himself, Lilly and the table so he could empty the contents. He was reaching down when Leroy greated them. The saint's award winning smile sped across his lips. "Hey." He replied, his head moving in a small nod. "Merry Christmas." The words escaped his lips before he reached down and hauled up the container of hot chocolate, dropping it with a thud on the table. A blur of red and white caught his attention as easilly as a flashy toy infront of a two year old. His eyes stayed fixed on the distraction of Lilly's skirt even after she'd finished twirling about causing it to flare out and preoccupy the saint. In an attempt to look away he tilted his shoulders away but his eyes remained stuck even as his hands worked slowly and dumbly on opening the thin plastic holding in the pile of cups. The apple of his eye achieved more stares in a day then she could be informed of.
The demon was fixing himself another snowball when th element made a turn against him and cascaded through the trees, tumbling over his crouched form and slipping through any break in his clothing. The hot skinned creature instantly had a fit, shooting up from the ground and shaking out like a dog. His scraggled bangs flipped violently from side to side while the back of his head remained in it's gelled spikes with an extra hint of holiday spirit in the form of stuck snowflakes. "Begeebes." His fingers raced around his neck trying to flick off the disgusting frozen water. A small steam started to rise around his head and neck as the water melted on his skin and evaporated from his naturally elevated temperature, a simple trait of his breed. He stumbled out from hid hiding spot behind the trees into the open in a flurry of curses and flailing as he dusted off his arms, shoulders and head. His teeth were clenched and his lip rose in a snarreling position as he rid himself of the last of it and pulled the jacket around his form. He fixed his pitch black eyes on his surroundings, looking for the hot liquid in Caleb's posession. Somehow he had approached the table in near silence, coming up by the liquid container and throwing one hand on the top of it and the other on the table. "Hey." He nodded towards Caleb whose attention still rested on the back side of his girlfriend. "Turn around, skank!" He spoke louder and put on a lopsided grin wondering which gender of skank would turn around first.

Neo smiled pursing his lips togerher in a hint of a smile watching Tyler's reaction to the snow falling down on top of him. It was amusing at first to watch the steam hiss from his targets shoulders. The smile fadded though after a Moment as he watched the display of Anger from his victimn. After all what started as fun had ended with some harsh words towards Lilly and her boyfriend. Creating an Ice ball He aimed for the angry Musican planning for it to hurt and opefully knock some sence into the idiot on the reason he couldnt be that dence right?
Morgan scowled at his father, his height was a sore point Most times " She's got Lenix anyway" He pointed out softlyalready judging if he could hit his distracted sibling. He caught her staring too at there Hostess "Why she keep staring at Lilly for shes just a girl?" He asked stooping to pick up snow guessing the only way for the snow to miss was for Llyan to intervene and he hoped he wouldnt , catching his sister unaware was too good to miss.
Phoenix was still hoding her box of decoration for the most part shed been watching Tyler too "Neo?"She muttered under her breath shaking her head with a bewildered smile "No..."She shook her head softly doubting that it could of been him , "Leniux you want to dress the tree with our decorations... "She asked looking down at her daughter somewhat distractedly, her ears picking up the words skank. Biting her lip she pretended to beginn with ignore it letting the couple deal with the trouble and not her..

Lilly had been a little too distracted picking out decorations that were alike and piling them up in small little mounds. These were default decorations, but the other decorations that were going to be unique the other people offered them like Lilly had placed energy balls from the different elements she possessed in the tree. Her icy blues had dragged around enough to check out Caleb's attention towards her skirt but Lilly, being sometimes a little too naive had thought that her adoration was checking out her snow boots that were shuffling and scuffing underneath the thick layer of little ice crystals piled together. Tilting her head in curiosity, she mindlessly twirled to her other side to look at her younger brother who was already putting a little bit of his own Christmas spirit into the pine tree when a "hey," was heard. At first, the red-haired goddess had thought it was her saint trying to get her attention but the voice was a little way too roughly spoken and without care to belong to him, causing her to freeze in her stance. Her eyes widened and slowly began to take a yellow hue around the icy blues, turning to the tail of her eyes while the black-combed lashes batted several of times as if to talk some sense into her body. Her eyes weren't directed enough towards the end of her view when they were drawn back by the expression in her brother's face and the low growl that was gurgling deep down in his chest as if ready to explode any minute. She could tell by the sudden yellow and red mixture around his irises and eye color that Leroy didn't pick up a nice scent from this newcomer and was comfirmed by the little comment later on Lilly heard which turned her assumptions of who it was true. "Leroy." She whispered, shaking her head lightly.
Leroy had already dropped the items in his hands. Two clenched fists were at either side of his thighs, grasping handfuls of his pants, fidgeting with his own temptation of intolerance. His eyes, from the light lavender color, had turned into a cold citrus yellow and bright red color, squinted behind a scowl that furrowed his eyebrows and creased his forehead. Even if the comment had been directed mainly towards Caleb, it had been undirected towards his sister. Either way, in Leroy's book, no one messed with his older sister and whoever she made acquaintances with. Caleb, despite their just small encounter once, was still bearer of his sister's heart and had been a nice kid in Leroy's eyes. "Excuse me?" He hissed through clenched teeth, trying hard not to expose his fangs or make a threat that wasn't yet intended.
Lenix had been now looking at the box of decorations her mother had offered unwillingly in her hands when he ears picked up the word skank and at who Tyler was really looking... which came to both the girl she was staring at earlier and the boy that was next to her, gawking relentlessly at his girlfriend's skirt. It stung her a little the harsh word spoken towards both but a new, cold sting had emanated over her shoulder, surfacing through her thick, white jacket. Her eyes swept to the source which stared directly towards her younger brother. "Morgan." The whisper left through her lips sounded as if a menacing threat that would go unnoticed but would be captured eventually again when he least expected it. It had distracted her momentarily and there was something she wanted to do about Tyler saying such mean things but she couldn't and wouldn't. Crestfallen, she trudged towards the tree, watching from the corner.
Gulping a little, Llyan had turned his steel-silver eyes towards Lenix when she was first staring at Lilly and turned back to Morgan as if some secret were yet to be unraveled but he had no idea. He just made assumptions. With a flick of his shoulders, he shrugged but furrowed his eyebrows when Morgan threw the snowball at Lenix. "Morgan!" He whispered exasperated. "Just do it. Your mother looks like..." but the sentence went undone when the word skank rung into his ears. His steel-silver eyes turned a liquid hard color when he found the culprit of the word and most of all, who it was spoken to. Staring daggers at Tyler, Llyan slowly marched and landed next to Caleb. Of course, he didn't want to cause trouble, but he did want to talk some sense into him especially on Christmas day. Mostly, he was here to perhaps intervene if Leroy lost control. Growing up with both Lilly and her brother, Llyan knew how Leroy could get.

The saint's eyes flickered from the shapely form of his girlfriend towards the voice that had floated vaugely through his mind. At first, he thought it was nothing. Then the tone started to register, the low, smoke cracked notes of spite. His form rose as he took a deep inhale of the chill air into his lungs. The blue eyes fixed on Tyler, dissapearing twice behind his eye lashes in disbelief. The mocking smile on the face of the man opposite him caused his jaws to close and his lips twist. A response, hot on his lips was let go in a frosty puff of smoke, whisping around his face and dissapearing into the cold, nocked out of him by a far more intense sensation. It crept over him from all sides like a warm summer breeze on hot skin, a simple tickle of fuzzy air that caused the hair on his neck to rise. His fingers tightened on the cups in his hand. The cat had sensed the eyes on him, from behind, the sides and forward, expectant and waiting. He knew the passing remark that would have tumbled from his lips in a quiet tone would not prove satisfactory for the several pairs of eyes, and men, that had suddenly taken up the defense for his girlfriend. His head titled down a bit, fidgeting for a moment under the pressure. His left hand rose from the cups, a slender finger rising up and his eyes shifted from Leroy to Llyan in a silent signal for their patience. The saint's head rose and he took a step towards the table. "What?" He asked quietly to Tyler and undid the cups and sliding one out.
With a case of tunnel vision the demon tilted his head, dead set drunk on causing a problem. His tounge slid across his lips in slow dilberation. Pitch black eyes skipped down and then back up, taking in the crowd that had gathered around heaven's hallowed saint. "Skank." The 's' was stressed in a hiss and he'd gotten the 'k' to pop as the word left his lips. He glanced at Leroy conveying a sort of look to see if he'd gotten it this time.
Caleb's eyes followed and again he gave a quiet signal, hoping the other man could hold fire. "Gimme a drink." Tyler continued, staring at Caleb.
Caleb brushed his right hand over his mouth and put his left hand on the table, leaning across. "Come here." He whispered, moving his finger in a hooking motion. Tyler leaned in, narrowly avoiding the ice ball that Neo had thrown, it went whizzing by his head such as Caleb planned. He watched it zoom past for a second and looked back at Ty. He picked up a cup and held it between them in a moment of tension. The delicate fingers of the instrumentalist slowly turned the cup so that the opening was presented towards Tyler's features. In the blink of an eye the cup was smashed into the bassist's face. "Get it yourself." Caleb replied adding an additional face shove to propel himself away from the table.
[>_> not my finest moment but.. i'm juggleing the end of a party and have no real excuse for my lack of imagination. ps- i didn't finish xD I realized that around 6 o'clock this morning. it's 9 now but... please.]

Neo scowled softly watching whilst Caleb delt with Tyler. It wasnt how he would of delt with it but then it wasnt his to deal with. As always the weather demon was the out sider besides there was always later to seek out the object of his annoyance. He glanced at the christmas tree , he'd brought nothing to adorn it like the others had.
Morgan watched his sister. He was probably the only one not intrested in the disturbance between Tyler and Caleb. After all it wasnt like a proper fight, there was ni fighting. He looked at the adults wonder who was next for a snow ball knowing it was proberly best to give Lenix a wide birth for the rest of the party. Deciding on Lilly for his victimn He patted another snowball and threw it at the Party's hostess, attempting a snow ball fight going and hopefully not be damned for the snow ball. Already he primed a second ball daring he threw that at his father hoping to relax the atmosphere that seemed to be building.
Phoenix wandered to her daughters side "You ok?"She asked glancing over at the crowd as she once more offered the girl the box of decoration hoping to use those as a destraction from the scene only paces away fromthem "Its going to look amazing once everyone has added there contributions" She commented her heart nor intrest in the tree at this Moment.

By the looks of Leroy's little mumbled scoff and his sudden stop in his tracks, Caleb had told Lilly's brother to just give him some space. A signal for the goddess that he had already something up his own sleeve which relieved her just the smallest. She still didn't dare turn around but it wasn't by much that she heard the small crunch the cup made at impact in the mongrel's face and the retaliate from the shove by Caleb's part, watching him stumble backwards into the red-haired girl's view. The faint traces of yellow that had invaded her eye color had faded back into the adoring and inhuman icy blue colors but the frantic pull upward and downward of her shoulders spoke something else. It seemed she was still nervous of what Tyler could really cause to this party but his reaction would be a last drop in the glass. Standing stiff, still seemingly stricken by rigor mortise, her slender fingers fidgeted together, praying nothing of the unusual would keep happening until the flick of her ears made her reflexes look to the side just to catch a snowball in her hands. Shifting her eyes to see the culprit, she spotted Llyan's young child already cultivating another one, shaping it into another doom. "Stop!" She sprung out of nowhere, pointing at the ball with no avail. She wouldn't stop it, it would only be a warning that had momentarily distracted her from the other situation occurring. She needn't more chaos knowing how Llyan could get.
A look of chagrin took over Leroy's face just at seeing the disapproving look Caleb had thrown at him. His fists unclenched, however, from the strained grip. It seemed that his attempts to do anything were futile and there would be nothing he could do about the situation. His eyes turned at the sluggish stance of his sister, watching her a little alarmed just to turn back to his own work, picking back up the decorations he dropped before the whole facade from the newcomer's part was set alight.
Llyan, seeing as well the disapproval look from Caleb, had decided it wasn't in his hands the situation but he'd be wary if anything were to happen. The sudden yell provided from Lilly's mouth made him turn around quickly just to look at a snowball thrown from his son's hand towards his face, exploding in contact, mushing watery ice all around the tangents of his face. Stiffening in place, Llyan lifted his hand and mopped it around his face, removing the cold water it had turned into in just a few minutes, flicking it away from his hand. The glowering look he turned towards Morgan would tell everything he had in mind to say in chastising words. "MORGAN! It's not the best TIME..." squinting behind moisturized eyelashes, Llyan turned back to look at Lilly. "I'm sorry. I--" but Lilly had raised her hand to stop him in mid-sentence before she had a tantrum or anyone else around her. Already in trepidation, she didn't want anything else to go bad. "Let's just... get on with the festivity..." she finally spoke in small huffs but her voice lacked any serene tone, soprano high or sing-song musical toned fluttery voice. It was flatly spoken and strained like if talking through grinding teeth.
Llyan just nodded and walked towards Phoenix, who was now talking to Lenix.
Nodding faintly, Lenix finally took the box into her hands and opened it to start helping decorating the tree. The small frivolous statement her mother had offered had been a nice try in cheering her spirit up for a faint almost wistful smile had appeared over her pink lips. "Yeah... it will look amazing with everyone's contributions. I can't wait."

The saint's lips thinned and disappeared into themselves before reappearing. He was a bit hesitant to move from his spot, fixed stupidly on Tyler's contorted expression. The taller's stars shoulders rose in his tension and his hands moved midway up his chest, his left hand cradling over his right fist. Wondering, the blue eyes flicked to Lilly who had turned her back to busy herself somewhere else. In the instant it took, Tyler's right hand had moved off the table and his body leaned as far as possible over it while the same hand shot forward making a grasp at Caleb's figure. He just missed the collar of Caleb's jacket and instead went for Caleb's hands that shot out in an unsteady flail as the singer tried to move out of range. "Neh." A high pitched sound escaped Caleb's lips as he squirmed to turn around. The burning warmth of the demons hands closed around his form sliding along it as the star turned for an escape. They made an empty grasp at his back, unable to grab the fabric that clung so tightly to the star's figure. With a searing scowl, the demon itself climbed across the table sending the blonde sprinting. "You better fucking run!" Tyler shouted while he leaped the table in a single movement and his feat landed in the snowy indents that Caleb had made just moments before. For a half drunk, it didn't take him much time to catch his balance and chase after the taller man.
Caleb had barely escaped Tyler's grasp, tripping over the depth of the snow when he turned. He didn't pause to dust himself off as he sprinted across the snow, dodging through visitor groups and family couples, grabbing a few bystanders by the shoulder and putting them in the path of the rageing man behind him. He detoured around a tree and took the parallel route for several yards before cutting a sharp left back towards the table. "Shit." The word was like music to Caleb's ears, he glanced back to see that Tyler recovering from tripping. A childish grin spread on his face revealing the pearly whites behind. He looked back ahead. "CRAP!" The voice rang in his ears as his own. His eyes barely focused when he found himself spiraling off of one of the boxes of decorations Lilly brought out. His hands sprawled out under him, sliding through the snow till his elbows met the substance and propped his body up. He lifted his hand up to his face, whiping some flakes off his cheek. He studied the snow on his hand a second, watching the little crystals melt. From behind his childish smile, a laugh crept in. Laying on his stomach in the snow, his laugh had caused his body to shake in the quick contraction and expansion of his lungs. As quick as the laugh had come, it dissapeared and he propped himself up on his elbows, glancing over his shoulder to see who had seen, though he knew the answer would be everyone.
During Caleb's crash, Tyler had recovered and come up behind him. And was the unfortunate first site for Caleb. "Fuckin' cat, you're dead." The words dropped from his lips in seething, mumbled huffs. The demon was a bit breathless after the run in the cold, an element he hated more then Caleb but wouldn't express. It wasn't a help on his system that he was drunk and by human standards high, but for his own immortality, not even close. Caleb had rolled on his back and was leaning on his elbows. "Oh." His eyes squinted up in disgust. "Bite me, Tyler." His head moved in a small flick as he spoke the words with a 'shut up' tone barely rivaling his mothers. The two stared at each other for a second after the words were spoken. At first glance, people might think Tyler's hesitation was in surprise that Caleb could get so nasty but someone with expireance would know exactly what the hesitation was.
The pale lips of Caleb parted to let out a small whisper. "Crap." His eyes closed and his shoulders slumped. He knew what he'd said was a mistake. He could only pray that the other party guests as witnesses would be enough to save him from it.

"Its going to look wonderful darling" Phoenix began to answer Lenix but Llyan's angry voice she looked first at him A small smile danced on her lips looking at the snow on Llyans head. It was soon dissolved though seeing how cross he was. She moved to greet her dark angel placing her arm around his waist . "Dont you think the tree looks lovely dear" She asked him looking once more to the tree to offer a nice neutral topic, away from Morgan and her cousan Caleb and his annoyaning bandmate. Morgan she would deal with later once they were home
Morgan scowled "It was just a snow -ball jeesh Not like it was going to hurt No body" He hissed at his father angrily "Was trying too add a little fun to this party " He added letting his anger die there. He stomped of and sat on a snow bank away from the party goers. Pulkling his Mp3 player he put his earphones on and let his music be his entertainment for now
